I loved the bottle design, super cheerful and fun. However, the scent disappointed me quite a bit: it’s too soapy and not lasting at all. My first impression was making the typical ‘uuuggg’ face. I thought it would improve as it settled, but it didn’t. I stick with the original a thousand times, or any of the other flankers. This isn’t worth it except for the bottle, which is a gem; ideal for collectors.
They presented it as something softer than I Love Love, as that one grates on me. The citrus opening is lovely, but after a few minutes the peony overwhelms the perfume, making it feel old and robbing it of freshness. I definitely don’t like it.
They showed it to me as a softer option than I Love Love, as I find it very brash. The citrus opening is rich, but after a few minutes the peony takes over, aging it and taking away the freshness. Definitely not to my taste.
I love it. I bought it a year ago and I’m still smitten. I didn’t have my own fragrance until I found it. It perfectly sums up spring for me: delicate, fresh scents and nothing heavy. The jasmine and peonies, mixed with the citrus, give it that extraordinary touch. It feels like walking under mandarin trees in a summer house, then dipping your feet in water while reading a book.
I’ve already tried other Moschinos, Pink Bouquet and Funny, which I liked very much. So Real, judging by the bottle, I imagined as very youthful and fun, so I never really took notice of it. A month ago I tried it in Uruguay at a free shop and I loved it, for its citrus opening and subsequent floral development. It’s soft; on me it doesn’t last long, but I suppose it depends on everyone’s skin. It feels youthful and innocent, soft, with white flowers predominating. Special for spring and summer.
Hello! It’s a fragrance for cheerful personalities. The presentation is lovely, a collectible little bottle. I recommend it for hot days; it’s very fresh and I detect the mandarin scent at 100%. On me, it lasted all day. Although compared to I Love Love, I definitely stick with the original because it’s a classic. Thanks Moschino 💓
To me, it’s a fresh, floral and refined aroma. It suits both a young girl and an older lady, giving an impression of cleanliness. I wear it in spring and it lasts about 4 or 5 hours.
My brother brought me this perfume from Italy after visiting a Moschino boutique. Here in Argentina, So Real hadn’t arrived yet, and when he gifted it to me, I fell in love instantly! I felt identified with a scent from my childhood. It’s warm at first due to the citrus top, but the mandarin is always present (more acidic than ripe), leaving a moderate, balanced bitter note. Over time, the flowers take centre stage. It evokes spring and summer, that smell of a mandarin peel cut too early. It lasts about 4–5 hours (it’s an EDT). Then it stays close to the skin with a floral, slightly powdery dry-down. Remember it’s a flanker of the classic; now the citrus predominates (unlike the original), but in the dry-down it stays true to the original with that powdery touch. I love it because it reminds me of my childhood and I doubt I’ll be without it in my collection. Try it!
My brother brought me this perfume from Italy as it was available in a Moschino boutique. Here in Argentina, the original hadn’t arrived yet, and when he gifted it to me, I fell in love instantly. I felt identified with a scent reminiscent of my childhood: it’s warm at first due to its citrus opening, but what’s always present is the mandarin (more on the acidic side, not ripe), so some might not like that slightly bitter edge, but it’s very moderate and balanced. After a few minutes, the flowers take centre stage. It evokes spring and summer, that little scent of a mandarin peel cut a bit too early. It lasts about 4-5 hours (it’s an EDT). After that, it stays very close to the skin and its dry-down is floral and slightly powdery; it’s worth remembering that it’s a flanker of the classic Cheap & Chic, but now the citrus notes dominate (which they don’t in the classic), yet in its dry-down it remains faithful to the original with that powdery touch. I have a particular love for this perfume because it reminds me of my childhood, and I doubt I’ll ever be without it in my collection. I hope you’re inspired to try it!
Oh, Moschino, how real it is! Smells like orange gummies, and if you look closer, there’s peony or rose, but it’s very synthetic. It’s sweet, like opening a pack of orange gummies instantly. Poor longevity, only about 2–3 hours, soft and light. It’s a sweeter, floral version of I Love Love, very youthful. The peony is rich, but that synthetic citrus sweetness doesn’t convince me. Ideal for teenage girls or up to 25, perfect for spring and summer.
Hey Moschino, it truly smells like real orange gummies; if you look closer, there’s peony or rose, but it’s very synthetic. It’s sweet, just like opening a pack of gummies. Poor longevity, about 2-3 hours, soft and light. It’s a sweeter and more floral version than I Love Love, very youthful. The peony is lovely, but that synthetic mandarin doesn’t work for me. It’s for girls from adolescence up to 25, ideal for spring and summer.
I love Moschino perfumes. This one is super refreshing and citrusy, totally for summer and daytime. You can really smell the orange blossom, that scent when lemon trees are in bloom.
Disappointed with this Moschino version. I’m a fan of the brand and own many of their fragrances, but none compare to this one. I apply it and can’t even smell it instantly. It doesn’t last 30 minutes on my skin, there’s no sillage or anything. It feels like water…
It smells fantastic, like sweet and refreshing mandarin, very clean. I think many judge perfumes by personal taste and leave negative comments. But for those who like clean, fresh and soft scents, it’s perfect. If you don’t like that, it’s not that the fragrance is bad, simply that it’s not your taste.
Smells great, sweet and refreshing mandarin, very clean. I think most people judge perfumes according to their personal tastes and leave negative comments. But for those who like a clean, fresh, sweet mandarin and soft scent, it’s perfect! If you don’t like that, you can’t say the fragrance is bad, it simply isn’t your taste.
Delicious! It reminds me so much of Clé de Peau’s Happy: citrusy, with sweet mandarins and oranges. I love it, it suits any season and lasts for hours. I’d buy it again! It also reminds me of Victoria’s Secret Natural Spirit Summer Crush. Another affordable option is Clé de Peau’s Happy and Moschino’s So Real. Delighted!
I bought the So Real in 5ml and the first time I hated the bitter orange and the sorbet. I gifted it away, but in less than a month I already missed it. I need such a citrus in my collection; what once seemed extreme now, when I smell it on someone else, smells cheerful, youthful and sparkling. I’ll buy it again; a citrus is never a bad idea in the heat.
Delicious! It reminds me so much of Clinique Happy: citrus, mandarins, sweet and delicious oranges. I love it! It’s suitable for any time of year and lasts many hours. I’d buy it again! Edit: it also reminds me a lot of Victoria’s Secret ‘Natural Spirit’ body mist – Summer Crush. Another affordable option alongside Clinique Happy and Moschino So Real. Delighted!
It smells fantastic and is very wearable. I prefer Funny myself, but my mother absolutely loves it; she used it for a while and adored it. I think it has no age limit; although the opening is fruity and youthful, the magic lies in the heart notes. The magnolia adds a serious touch that jasmine alone wouldn’t have. Very beautiful.
It’s not the same as Clé de Peau’s Happy… the Moschino version smells much better and is better made.
It’s citrusy with a sorbet twist, pleasant at first, but on my skin it doesn’t develop and you can tell the concentration is low. I bought it for the style and reviews, but I wouldn’t repurchase; I prefer an Agatha Ruiz or a similar body splash that lasts longer and costs less.
They say it smells nice, but it fades quickly; some BBW body mists last longer. For the price, it’s not worth it.
It lifts my mood, making me feel jovial and full of pure energy.
Wearing this perfume brings me joy; I feel jovial and full of energy.
Has anyone experienced that it doesn’t last at all and the sillage is infinitesimal?
It’s terrible; it lasts less than a drugstore cologne. It smells odd, reminding me of those youthful colognes from the 90s. It smells like a mix of lavender and mint. And the worst part is that it disappears almost immediately.
It’s terrible, lasts less than a pharmacy cologne. Smells strange, reminds me of those youthful colognes from the 90s. Smells like a mix of lavender and mint. And the worst is the fixation which disappears immediately.
I see so many destructive comments about this lovely fragrance; on me it awakens sweet mandarin with a frozen sorbet 🍧 and magnolias, it feels clean with a hint of old-school perfumes, but nothing to do with saying it’s ugly, it’s water, or it doesn’t last, because every pH is different. On me it lasts about 4 hours close to the skin, although people around me have told me they can smell it even if I’m right next to them (not because a fragrance isn’t to your liking means it’s bad 😏).
Undoubtedly it has poor longevity; I first tried it for months with a decant and that encouraged me to buy the large bottle. Considering it’s affordable, for daily use and for going out for a few hours, although in the large bottle it lasts less than 4 hours, it feels very close to the skin, still smells good and I use it more as a body splash. Lovely but I wouldn’t buy it again; the ambroxan fixes massively on my skin and I like it, but this perfume lacks strength.
Exquisite!!!! It’s the summer clone for ever.
Lovely fragrance, the dry-down reminds me a bit of Donna Karan Woman, but the citrus part is more prominent like Light Blue. I own both and it’s like a layering between the two.
A lovely citrus ideal for the heat of summer, youthful and cheerful. Refreshing bitter citrus note at first, magnificent, with a peony and jasmine very well blended and a dry-down where the moss stands out, which I adore. Decent longevity, 6 hours on me. For the price it has, it’s well worth it.
The truth is, although there are much more interesting affordable perfumes, I don’t like this one. I prefer it and it performs better on my skin, but the friend who showed it to me says she loves it i love love, yet it performs better for her even though it’s also a niche fragrance.
Reading the reviews, I think this perfume behaves differently on different skins or batches vary 🤷🏽♀️. On me, it comes out as a slightly bitter but pleasant citrus, reminding me of Dalí A which I adore, but it doesn’t last at all. I don’t detect the red berries, but in the dry-down there’s a touch of sweet and woody magnolia and I think some musk. It lasts six hours nicely on me with moderate projection for two hours.
Hello, smells lovely, fresh and sweet like seasonal citrus. It lifts the mood, although the longevity and sillage aren’t the best; being a critical perfume reviewer, it’s normal that it doesn’t last as long as heavier fragrances. I finished a bottle and would buy it again, though I wouldn’t call it a must-have.
