Descripción
Pleasures by Estée Lauder is a floral fragrance for women. Launched in 1995, this composition was created by Annie Buzantian and Alberto Morillas. The top notes reveal a green and vibrant atmosphere with freesia, pink pepper, violet, violet leaves, neroli, and red berries. The heart unfolds an intense floral orchestration featuring lily of the valley, peony, lilac, lily, jasmine, rose, geranium, and karoo karoundé flower. The base settles on a warm and woody accord of musk, cedar, sandalwood, and patchouli.

Pleasures smells like a sunny field of white flowers. I must admit it projects better on me at night, in warm but not excessive climates. I think it’s ideal for summer evenings. It’s a floral with a lot of presence, although fresh. It doesn’t make me fall in love, but it seduces me and, true to its name, it’s very pleasurable to wear.
It’s a very delicate, exquisite, elegant floral, soft yet present. I notice a lot of white flowers and touches of slightly acidic red fruits that give it a pleasant balance. It’s certainly an excellent perfume.
Along with Cristalle EDP, this is the one I use most in summer. It’s a wonderful bouquet of flowers, slightly powdery, fresh but with that extra bit of the great fragrances. Men adore it; when a woman wears it, it’s magic. The sillage and longevity are excellent; I don’t need to reapply during the day, or only on summer evenings. What a great brand Estée Lauder is.
I must admit it lasts quite a while on my skin, but I have to combine it with something citrusy because the only thing that predominates is the freesia and I feel like I’m in a cemetery.
Pleasures lives up to its name: I felt pleasure when smelling it straight from the bottle and I still feel it after 20 years. It’s bottled spring, fresh and floral, with a soapy, sharp opening that I recommend trying before buying, as it might bother some people. It looks better in the heat, although my pH makes it last only a couple of hours. It’s too rich not to own.
I started wearing it a few days ago and its opening is fascinating. It gives me freshness and lasts more than seven hours on my skin and clothes. I work in perfumery and, although at first I judged it to be not very versatile and too mature without smelling it, I’m now fascinated by it.
It’s a peony perfume with a green touch, like being in a summer garden. At first I notice soft aldehydes. It’s cheerful yet mature, not vintage. It’s not super formal, but classic. It’s similar to 5th Avenue but more of a yellow floral, whereas Pleasures is greener. It reminds me of the Gwyneth Paltrow campaign, which captures its essence. It lasts four to six hours with a moderate trail.
It’s my favourite perfume; I love it. It seems floral, fresh and clean. I’ve worn it since I was 18 as a gift from a godmother and I’m still grateful for it today. I recommend it for all ages, but if you’re looking for something sweet, this might not be for you.
I absolutely loved this gift; at first I hesitated because I’m a gourmand fanatic and don’t usually wear florals, but it’s an incredible discovery. It leaves me feeling fresh, elegant and confident. The trail lasts up to eight hours on my skin and it’s ideal for summer. I detect neroli, jasmine and musk at the outset. I’ll definitely be buying it again when I run out.
What perfumes! Pleasures by Estée Lauder, Miracle by Lancôme, Romance by Ralph Lauren and Happy Heart by Clinique. They never fail! I prefer more intense scents, sometimes hyper-neroli and jasmine, other times blackcurrant, but this list is infallible.
I rate this formulation and my amazement is as follows: the perfumer Morillas, across different brands, is brilliant (thanks for his masterpieces)… for florals, he is the magician of my preferences. I bought this perfume in Paris, it fascinated me, so when it ran out I wrongly thought I could find it in Mexico… ;(, yes that was the case and, I don’t know if due to transport or the decision that in America we are another world, unfortunately it was another world to experience that. Honestly at Lauder, according to versions, they change it for the market; it would be convenient to have their scent evaluation panel. Regardless of them hiding behind skin pH. Let’s remember, friends, that the sense of smell is singular and of LIFE and memories. Thanks for reading me.
I wore it for years and had to say what I was wearing countless times. It’s a fresh and lovely scent that almost everyone likes. It’s very easy to wear, a fresh and classic air, a charming floral.
I won it in a Christmas game, so it’s a great gift. It’s not one of my favourites but I use it from time to time. It has good longevity on the skin, not much sillage, smells neutral, it’s clean but at the same time I feel it strongly.
It’s super floral and gives the sensation of just coming out of the bathroom, very clean and fresh. It’s not one of my favourites but I don’t dislike it; it’s very good for extremely hot days.
My first memory of this perfume is an afternoon at my godmother’s house. I was under ten, asking permission to open her wardrobe and I was amazed by feminine secrets: fabrics, make-up, creams, and a bottle of Pleasures. That scent accompanied her hugs, the fabrics, the pillows, everywhere. Almost a month ago she passed away, and looking for something tangible to bring her back, I remembered it was her perfume for years. At a crucial work event, I passed a perfumery to check it out and I wasn’t wrong: it evoked memories full of tenderness, so I decided to buy it. Here comes the magic: I didn’t have to wait long, I had my birthday, and my dad gave me the perfume I wanted (he knew nothing). I found a 100ml set, one for my bag and a scented cream; there were three boxes. I got home and my mum wanted one for herself, so she ordered it. The next day, the saleswoman Ileana told me I’d been lucky: a few hours later, a gentleman took the remaining two boxes, but she had ordered three more. Three days later she called me and told me I’d been lucky again: after my purchase, two ladies also bought that perfume and the other two boxes were already reserved. Anyway, this has nothing to do with the scent, which others have already reviewed; my review is a love story with touches of magic. I highly recommend the perfume, especially if you are a flower enthusiast and want to stand out among current sweet aromas.
I must talk about this wonderful perfume. I suffer from migraines and choosing one is a torment, as sometimes I love the opening but then it drives me mad. With this, the unthinkable happened: I adore its opening and its longevity feels so natural that I don’t even notice it, but others do, so I receive compliments. I replenish it every year, wanting to find that magic again, but none surpass the natural way Pleasures integrates into my skin and daily life. I would define it as a floral bath, discreet and feminine, my salvation for smelling good for myself and for others.
Wonderful always. I’ve had it since the beginning and there’s never a bottle missing from my dressing table. It’s one of my all-time favourites, earning me many compliments. When I was little, I would go to my grandmother’s house in the village; she had a garden with a lilac tree, and every time I passed, I’d approach the flowers and say ‘how lovely it smells’. This is what Pleasures smells like. The lilac is very prominent, it’s the flower that stands out most, perhaps due to my memory. Combined with the jasmine, which I adore, it gives an extraordinary creaminess. Absolutely recommended even after all this time.
Truly wonderful. I wore it nearly twenty years ago during a very difficult period in my life, so I associate it with that time. It’s incredible how the sense of smell can transport us so far and revive flashes of experiences, good or not. But, as I said, it is a work of art.
This is one of my signature scents, ideal for those who love florals with green and clean touches. It lasts around six hours, with a moderate sillage at first and is very versatile for all seasons. Nothing too overpowering and extremely flattering.
I do own it, but I almost never wear it. I think I have an issue with perfumes featuring green notes. I simply don’t like them.
What a beautiful perfume. On my skin, the green note harmonises with the flowers to give a feminine, neat and delicate aroma. Suitable for all mild days, for any occasion; it could be a signature scent.
Super fresh fragrance! Very green opening, then the flowers gradually join in. Good longevity, lasts about six hours. Moderate sillage. Very lovely; I would buy it again without hesitation.
I love the scent, but it’s very soft, doesn’t last long and feels faint. What a pity because it smells so soft and pleasant. Very floral, as I like, but far too poor in longevity and sillage.
Delicious and soft, so pleasant it fascinates me. Despite its age, the first time I tried it, I fell in love with the green notes.
One of the finest florals of all time. I spotted it in a fashion magazine in the mid-90s and it has been with me since. It’s a pure fragrance; it doesn’t need a thousand notes to stand out. Good longevity and the bottle is a tribute to subtlety.
Extremely floral, fresh and soft. Its strength isn’t the sillage; you only notice it when you’re close. It’s discreet but delicate and delicious. The green notes are a success. Ideal for smelling good without leaving a huge trail, something simple, clean and neat.
The first time I smelled it, it seemed very floral and vintage. I tried it again months later and it was a delight, especially in colder months. It’s enveloping, calm, fresh and feminine. A relaxed, fresh elegance that is a pleasure.
One of the best florals ever made: despite having many flowers, it’s neither sweet nor overpowering. I bought it twice and returned to it years later for the price. It smells green and clean; the opening is potent and can be a bit much at first, but then the flowers blend into a subtle aroma. It’s not strident, it’s personal and present. It doesn’t last long on my skin, but it does linger on clothes. Perfect for any season if you want to feel clean and fresh.
A fresh scent, but one note feels too sharp for me and prevents me from enjoying it. I tried it several times to no avail. The bottle design, however, has always seemed elegant to me.
Fresh yet substantial, as the floral notes really stand out. Very elegant; ideal for a woman with personality who wants to be noticed.
I will love this little perfume all my life. I adore its very feminine and elegant florality.
It is a special perfume, as if you were carrying a bouquet of freshly cut flowers; it doesn’t feel artificial. It makes me think of an impressionist painting. It is very feminine, aromatic and elegant. Its longevity is good and the sillage is moderate; I think on rainy days its green notes are enhanced, which I don’t like entirely because it gives me a very bitter sensation, but generally on hot or cold days it works very well.
A floral explosion in every sense. If you like smelling a field planted with sweet, rich and above all feminine flowers, this is your fragrance. It is not heavy or cloying. It has very good projection, lasts hours on the skin and even after washing, it still smells on the clothes.
For me, it is a tremendous white floral, fresh and greenish. It smells of freshly cut flowers and stems. The background is a woody, earthy musk. Elegant. It is one of those classics that doesn’t come across as vintage, and for that reason, it could form part of a collection for decades.
A classic that never disappoints. It is a clean white floral, particularly I don’t smell any rose, it is a bit powdery and even metallic. It suits any age, for an elegant woman. I don’t feel it is vintage; it would easily be your signature scent.
A crystal-clear, green, fresh and very floral perfume. For me, it is the absolute king of fresh florals that were in fashion in the late 90s and early 2000s. Nevertheless, it doesn’t feel old or anything; it still conveys the same freshness, vitality and innocence as always. This is floral, but not a white or yellow floral, nor a cloying mixture of wilted roses and dry jasmine. It is a magnificent green floral, fresh, clean and crystal-clear. It makes me think of a glass window looking out onto a colourful garden and a body of water in the background. It is the signature scent of several people I know, perhaps because they wore it in their youth or simply because they like it. And who doesn’t need one? The main flowers are rose, jasmine, lilac, freesia and geranium, all taken to their cleanest and purest extreme. I don’t detect the neroli or lily mentioned, which is a success, as those white flowers tend to dirty the scent and give a more erotic touch, something that would be superfluous here. Like all classics, this perfume has no age, but it has the ability to adapt to its wearer. Nevertheless, I recommend using it during the day and in spring or summer, because it evokes that freshness that is appreciated with the heat and has something that makes it more suitable for daytime wear.
Pleasures is a classic floral that never gets old and continues to enchant with its freshness and simplicity. Since its launch, many fragrances have been copied, perhaps that is why it no longer stands out among so many sweet and loud perfumes. A grave mistake. Pleasures reminds us that there is infinite beauty in naturalness and discretion. It is innocent and luminous, like a walk through a sunny meadow full of flowers and greenery. A wild bouquet of pure spring, elegant and delicate. It has a soapy base that evokes sheets dried in the sun. I consider it very versatile; no one would say it is 30 years old, but here it still is! Pure, transparent, cool, almost chilly, yet tender. A precious fragrance.
Delicious, soft and innocent; it smells like rain on flowers. However, in my case, it has no sillage and doesn’t last, I only smell it on myself. Also, perhaps it is too innocent, almost for a little girl.
A delicious, soft and floral scent with that lovely springtime, youthful touch. The only drawback is that it lacks projection and doesn’t last long on the skin.
Absolutely love it! I’ve been wearing it for 29 years and, despite having many other fragrances, it still makes me fall in love every time. I can’t count how many bottles I’ve finished before buying it again. I’ve tried special editions, but I adore it for its freshness and elegance.
