Top fragrance, aquatic and ideal for heat. Projects little but lasted 6 hours on skin. Very economical.

  • I haven’t tried any original Acqua di Giò; my opinion is solely on this perfume. I’m a citrus fanatic, and when I smelled Suqraat, it was like ‘wow!!!’. For me, it’s a citrus-woody blend with a hint of incense—exquisite, rich, and very addictive. I loved it; it’s fresh and revitalising, exquisite for warm days. Accessible price (though not entirely, there are cheaper options, perhaps due to the hype). Still, it’s exquisite. I hope they don’t discontinue it; I don’t think I’ll remove it from my collection. Moderate trail as is typical for citrus, about 6 hours on my skin. Very rich scent. Cheers, perfume lovers.

I bought it because I like ADG Profumo and wanted something very similar. Today I tried it, and at first spray, it doesn’t resemble Profumo; over time it tries to, but the truth is it has poor projection and smells very soft, as if you were mixing 10ml of ADG Profumo with the same amount of water. Scent: 5/10, Projection: 5/10.

To clarify, it’s the base of Profumo without the incense, so it doesn’t smell like the original Acqua Di Giò. It’s a fresh, aromatic scent with personality, a step above the classic (in my personal opinion). The original always seemed ephemeral and weak to me; this Suqraat has that appeal but adds the depth the classic lacked without becoming the nocturnal and serious Profumo. It’s daytime, versatile, and suitable for all weather—a successful inspiration. Performance is correct for an EDT with projection proportional to sprays. Recommended at a fair price. It met my expectations despite seeking the Lattafa alternative. Perfect for a signature scent, all-rounder. Perhaps a combination of notes evokes a faint soft incense. It’s not the panacea or the one-to-one clone; that’s a YouTube myth.

To clarify, it’s the base of Profumo without the incense, so it doesn’t smell like the original Acqua Di Giò. It’s a refreshing, aromatic scent with personality; in my personal opinion, it’s a step above the original, which even years ago I found ephemeral and weak. This Suqraat has that appeal but offers what the classic lacked: more depth, without reaching the nocturnal, elegant, and serious Profumo. It’s a daytime, versatile, informal scent suitable for all weather—a successful inspiration rather than a copy. Performance is correct for a designer EDT, with projection proportional to sprays on clothes and skin. Recommended at a democratic price. It met my expectations despite me seeking the Lattafa alternative for Profumo. Perfect for a signature scent, all-rounder. It may evoke a faint soft incense. It’s not the panacea or the definitive one-to-one clone; that’s a YouTube myth.

The closest current Arab perfumery comes to Western best-sellers like the classic Acqua di Giò by Armani. Fresh, versatile, and a crowd-pleaser. The bottle is pretty, reminiscent of D&G The One.

  • It’s strong at first but then balances citrus and ginger with a woody touch; over time, a very subtle lavender emerges. The trail is weak for now, though I’ll let it macerate to see if it improves. It’s rich, masculine, and perfect for heat. Scent 7.5/10, projection 5/10. Edit: After 5 months of maceration, the scent intensified, but the longevity remains terrible—even Nautica Voyage lasts longer on skin. If you’re looking for an ADGP clone, look elsewhere.

  • I dislike the opening entirely; the smell is incomprehensible… And something strange happens to me: at first I cannot perceive its scent, but after 2 hours it comes alive and the dry down is spectacular; it seems that as hours pass, the fragrance becomes more potent. Longevity on my skin passes 8 hours, on clothes, needless to say.

  • I don’t like the opening at all; the scent is incomprehensible… Something strange happens to me: I don’t feel it at first, but at 2 hours it comes alive, and the dry-down is spectacular, seeming more potent the longer it goes. Longevity on my skin exceeds 8 hours, on clothes, well, no need to say more.

  • Jaime Ramírez

It is almost identical to the recent Acqua di Gio Profumo (from 2023 onwards): it is soft, lasting about 5 hours. The opening resembles it little, but after 5 minutes they are almost identical. For the price and the poor quality of recent Armani batches, this perfume is worth it, as it is almost identical in the dry down.

  • A good inspiration for ADG Profumo, I’d say 90%. It lasts 7 hours, not bad for 25 dollars. On clothes it lasts 10 hours, the projection is pleasing, it’s super comfortable, and I would buy it again.

  • First use at 30 degrees outside and the scent vanished in an hour. I will keep trying it because it makes me furious to have missed the discontinued Profumo.

  • To be honest, I was impressed by its huge similarity to Acqua Di Gio Profumo: a masculine scent, somewhat heavy yet maintaining the marine and fresh essence. Longevity on skin is normal (5-6 hours) and it lasts longer on clothes. It is one of those perfumes that definitely make you noticed, and for the price, it seems excellent.

  • A very good alternative to the Acqua di Gio; the DNA of that collection is undeniable. Moreover, the price is better and the performance surpasses Armani’s; on my skin it lasts 6-7 hours. They say it is the clone of Profumo, and while it has much resemblance, it lacks the sharp incense of that one. It comes closer to the Parfum.

  • Marvin Josué

It smells lovely, but the longevity is very poor, not lasting more than 2 hours on me; I wonder if it’s my pH, but for the price, one cannot ask for more.

  • A good fragrance, fresh, lasting about 5-6 hours and projecting massively during the first hour; perfect for summer.

  • It’s a simple fragrance, but precisely for that reason it has its own charm. Very prominent herbal notes remind me of summer streams and the grass growing by their banks. I recommend it 100%; it smells very similar to ADG.

  • I applied 5 sprays on the neck: pleasant scent, I feel it’s kinder than the ADG, although I only tested it once. It’s a good blend: citrus opening, then it moves to intense floral and joins with the sweet and deep. On my skin it projects moderately for 1 or 2 hours and lasts 8 hours; the first half strong and the second close to the skin.

  • Leandro Matias

What a beautiful scent, truly. It has a well-mannered, fresh masculine smell. Thanks to these Arab lads for trying to replicate jewels like the ADG Profumo. The fixation, projection and trail are good, although at the fourth hour I would reapply with 3 or 4 sprays.

  • Smells great, I know many complain that it doesn’t last, but with the Arab scents you have to have patience. You have to let them mature for a couple of months, the scent evolves and improves, you can’t judge it freshly opened. It happened to me with Club de Nuit, even the Intense at first smelled of cat excrement with lemon, but after two months it changed: it’s fresh, citrusy, with ginger, a delight for the heat or for using in the office every day.

  • Pplacchetta

If it lasted longer it would be one of my favourite perfumes of all time, but well, it has an excellent price so it’s worth reapplying as many times as necessary hahaha

  • Works great for daily use, whether at home or a simple outing on hot days. I love that fresh feeling it gives, although the truth is it doesn’t last long on the skin projecting. After three hours it becomes quite intimate, but I like it that way.

Lattafa Suqraat: Fresh with personality due to the incense touch, a citrus and amber blend, distinctive. For heat, formal events, and nights; in cold it fades and performance leaves something to be desired. I love Acqua di Gio Profumo and bought it as a supposed clone. Do they resemble each other? Yes, about 90%. Suqraat has a more muted incense; I’d say it’s 99% identical to the new Parfum version. Box: Strange texture, thick cardboard, discreet but good design (8.5). Bottle: Common, not ugly but not great either, large cap, doesn’t feel heavy and doesn’t withstand the weight (7.5). Atomiser: Average, could be better, around 15cm power (7.8). Price: I got it for $20, range $20-35 (9.5). Longevity: 3 hours initially, rose to 6 after maceration, max 7; lasts 2 days on clothes, somewhat low compared to other fresh Arab scents (7.8). Trail: Good for the first hour and a half, then it fades (8.5). Projection: One metre for 75 minutes, then more personal (8). Packaging: Received, not their speciality but you’ll get it (8.5). Final note: 8.3. Conclusion: Better alternative to Acqua di Gio Profumo but slightly more diluted. If its longevity were similar to the original, it would be one of my favourites. If you love Profumo and don’t have it or want something similar without spending, get it; if you don’t like Profumo, I see it as unnecessary.

  • It smells similar to the Profumo and Parfum of Acqua di Gio, but lighter with longevity that leaves something to be desired. Projects well for the first hour and then lingers on the skin for a few hours. I picked it up for $17, so I’m not complaining, but at that price, I deserve something that lasts longer. That weak point makes me hesitate to buy it again. The good: it smells great, similar to the original ADGs, and costs less than $20. The bad: the projection is weak and the longevity is mediocre.

EDIT: I ordered it online and I don’t know if it’s original, but given the price I doubt it’s fake. I expected something more pleasant according to the comments, but the rosemary comes out with brutal force for the first 5 minutes, a note that bothers me. Then it drops (without leaving) and the sweet citrus and wood dominate; the balance doesn’t convince me at any point. It’s an ADG in rosemary water, period. It smells very mature to me, I wouldn’t buy it again and I’m giving up on looking for ADG dupes I liked but feel they’re outdated. I thought it would be more modern, but no, and I’m not motivated to buy the Liam Blue because it does carry rosemary and it’s not my thing. I gifted it to my dad; in the end of the day at night it smells good, a rich citrus very ADG. But I can’t stand the development with so much rosemary. Fragrance: 5/10: I don’t like it because of the rosemary, in the dry down it’s more bearable and it does settle like an ADG. Longevity: 7/10: Over 6 hours freshly opened, surely it improves with maceration (it improved because my dad noticed it to me at the end of the day). Versatility: 8/10: For those who like it, it serves in many occasions and moments, not just summer, ideal for intermediate seasons or mild weather, day and night. Presentation: 3/10: The bottle with those dots looks quite ugly to me, I had it hidden away from my sight.

  • Cristovvv06

Lattafa Suqraat is fresh and characterful thanks to those incense notes; it blends citrus with an amber base that makes it distinctive. Ideal for heat, events, or nights; in the cold, it gets lost. The performance leaves something to be desired. I love it because it’s the clone of Acqua di Gio Profumo, they’re 90% similar, although here the incense is more subdued. If you compare it to the new Parfum, it’s 99% identical. The box has a strange texture and thick cardboard, a discreet design. The bottle is common, not ugly but not standout either, the cap is large and doesn’t hold the weight. The atomiser is average. I picked it up for $20 (range $20-35). Longevity: 3 hours at the start, rises to 6 or 7 after maceration; on clothes it lasts two days, something low for a fresh Arabic scent. The trail is good for the first hour and a half. Projects a metre for 75 minutes and then becomes personal. I’ve received compliments, although that’s not its strong suit. Verdict: 8.3. It’s the best alternative to the Profumo, but more diluted. If its longevity were better, it would be one of my favourites. If you love the Profumo or are looking for something similar without spending on the discontinued version, buy it; if you don’t like the Profumo, it’s unnecessary.

  • AuraParfums7

Bought this looking for something to replace my discontinued ADG Profumo, that legendary scent. From the start, I knew it wouldn’t be the same. I know ADG Profumo very well; in fact, I still have a little bit saved away. This has some resemblance at the beginning, but then it fades quite a bit; it’s not a bad perfume, but it doesn’t generate anywhere near the impact, longevity, or performance of the original. It’s merely a shadow. Now, if you’re looking for a classic style, a sober fragrance, and you like ADGs, you might enjoy it. But if you compare it to the Profumo, it has nothing to do. Olfactorily, it has a resemblance, the rest, I repeat, is a shadow. Forget the comparison, good fragrance, a 6.5-7/10.

  • This and the Turathi Electric would be beasts for summer, if only they didn’t evaporate in a breath.

  • For me it doesn’t resemble the Profumo but the EDP. I love it, it gives a twist to the classic ADG and it’s good to wear in spring evenings or autumn days. It lasts me between 4 and 5 hours and close to the skin it can stretch for another hour. It projects well for 1 hour. So, the price is very good for the performance; if you’re going to a meeting or date, this doesn’t fail.

  • It has the DNA of the Acqua di Giò, but anyone looking for it as a substitute for the Profumo should note that this lacks the incense note at the base and generally misses that particular development. Regarding its performance, like all fresh scents, you need to give it a push by applying more or putting it on clothes; that’s enough to correct that problem and for the price it won’t hurt much. In conclusion, if you’re looking for a substitute for the Profumo because you liked that incense and patchouli base, I recommend looking at other options. If you’re only interested in having something of the ADG type for daytime use, this could serve you.

  • I bought it at the beginning and felt it didn’t last at all. But since I have about 30 perfumes I used it a few times, that is, I sprayed several trigger shots and it went unused for several months. Today I put it on at 7 am, about 5 or 6 sprays, and it’s 6:25 and I still smell it or at least the pleasant ginger note. We’re in cold season although it’s sunny. There’s cold wind.

  • A lovely perfume where violet predominates as it dries; it doesn’t feel anything like ADG Profumo, it’s more similar to ADG EDP because you don’t feel that darkness that the Profumo has. For what you pay (a maximum of $25) you get a very masculine and pleasant perfume for everyday use. As for performance, I’ll have to keep testing it, but it seems it doesn’t ask much of the ADG EDT, EDP and all their variants; don’t expect an atomic bomb or anything exceptional in longevity because not even the fragrance line it’s inspired by has great longevity or projection. For the office, the gym, university or simply to feel fresh, clean and uncomplicated, it’s a safe purchase. Lattafa as always giving us a fair price for quality fragrances.

  • It’s a rich, elegant perfume, a clear dupe of Aqua Di Gio Profumo but with less projection and longevity; it’s a more economical alternative but if you notice more synthetic scents, I recommend it for the price but it’s not a perfume that stands out too much.

  • Marcelodisquito

Nice fragrance, it resembles the ADG line a bit, but it’s an insult to call it a clone of any of them. Its main problem is that it projects for half an hour and on skin doesn’t last more than 2 hours even applied generously. A pity.

  • It’s not a direct clone of PROFUMO, more of an inspiration. It has this rich incense aroma, but more diluted and much more citrusy than the Profumo; if you smell it, it gives an ADG vibe, but you don’t think ‘Wow, it’s the same!’. Rich, I bought it less than a month ago and have already received several compliments. I’d buy it again directly and unless you’re a fanatical Profumo lover, you can use this if you’re looking for something similar. Scent 10/10 Price 10/10 Projection 7/10 Longevity 7/10

  • petrowski4

A very good everyday perfume; smells clean and masculine. It’s not unique, quite generic, but it smells great, fresh and versatile. You can find it at a very good price. A very safe bet; I recommend it for the gym or for daily wear.

  • Adrian1609

I tried Lattafa Suqraat and for me it’s a clean, versatile perfume, perfect for any occasion. It has that fresh ‘just out of the shower’ scent that always works. On my skin it lasts about 5 hours, which is quite good considering the price. The trail isn’t very large, more moderate, but it does the job for daily use. Many say it’s an inspiration for Acqua di Giò Profumo, but personally I feel it’s closer to Acqua di Giò Parfum. It has that fresh aquatic DNA from the ADG line, just a bit lighter. For the price, it’s really worth it if you’re looking for a fresh, clean, easy-to-use daily scent. Pura vida 🇨🇷
