  An interesting fragrance by Mona di Orio. It opens fresh and green with a subtle animalic touch, but what really grabs your attention is that spicy, realistic pink pepper note that hits immediately. Then the neroli comes into its own: narcotic, majestic, and far from shouty, instead creamy and warm thanks to the heliotrope softening it. There’s a distinct milky, coconut side to it, reminiscent of a bronzer, that persists throughout the evolution. The benzoin and musks, including the cashmere, sweeten everything, give it body, and add a woody base that tames the tuberose’s florality a bit. It’s one of the most unisex neroli fragrances I’ve tried, with a modern development. Longevity and projection are excellent, plus it uses natural essences and high-quality absolutes. Mona calls it ‘Tuberose Crepuscule’ because it’s greener and fresher than others, though to me it only smells fresh at first; afterwards it turns warm, creamy, and talc-like. Rating: 7
