A very good perfume, with citrus at the start and a leather base from the combination of oud, amber, and musk. It has a great trail and longevity, is elegant, refined, and rich; I recommend it to everyone.
Starts with a spicy elemi, almost peppery, with no perceptible citrus, just acidity and a medicinal hint rising through the warm Oud. The celestial Osmantus tries to join the wood but doesn’t quite fit and barely registers. As it dries, the patchouli and ambergris sweeten and balance things out. I’ll admit the materials are top-notch; that real Lao Oud isn’t artificial, hence the price, but I don’t understand Mona’s blend. With those ingredients and her history with Cuir or Vetiver, she could have done better. Rating: 5/10
