  • Refined and intense, 0% synthetic, a scent very close to leather. The perfect companion for late winter nights. It can last almost two days. The bottle alone is tempting, a true collector’s jewel.

  • charlotinable

My best friend gifted me this bottle, unopened and untouched since 20 years ago. It is a work of art, a true gem of classic perfumery. What a divine and glorious delicacy this scent possesses. It lasts for eternity and has a sweet, powdery character. I treasure it like gold in a velvet pouch. It is such a shame it has been discontinued; I would love to own several bottles. This fragrance represents the most sensual refinement among many others, bearing the touch of a true artisan who knew how to craft perfumes. Being from a bygone era, it carries that unique plus, to use a redundant phrase, making it a perfume as unique as the finest examples of Opium, Shalimar, L’Air du Temps, Chanel No. 5, Miss Dior, Youth Dew, and countless others that possess their own seal, their own life, and a divinely unique magic. Unfortunately, nowadays there are few that raise their hand and shine with a mystical radiance, because today’s scents are very synthetic, dehydrated, soulless, and frankly, disappointing; they last merely a sigh of unrequited love, and I wonder if it is due to costs or a lack of raw materials. Formerly, perfumes had a very distinct character and a fiercely marked temperament; now, they are almost embarrassing, and many are born and live without glory, and those are the ones that should be discontinued. Believe me, if there were a time machine, it would be wonderful for those who love with true reverence to travel back in time and bring back to life those magical fragrances that made us dream, evoke, and feel a world apart.
