  Very pleasant, citrus-floral with a stunning opening. It carries the Patou stamp: it’s not just a fresh water; the house imbues it with quality and class. The top is sparkling, the citrus awakens instantly, and the flowers add body and richness. The base is sophisticated, dominated by tonka bean and labdanum. As some say, it could fit in the Cristalle line, but it’s not the same; it recalls the initial burst and florals but dries down differently. Yes, it has a green, fresh character, but this is Patou, a different DNA. Don’t expect an Aqua Allegoria-style water; this is denser, more substantial. It’s like a concentrated water, à la Chanel. I recommend it 100%; the trail is moderate, and although I’m still testing it, I sense it will last a long time on clothes and be a real surprise. I’ll update this once I’ve enjoyed it more. I don’t know the original well; it seems quite different; the vintage features oakmoss, galbanum, and amber. Thomas Fontaine has created his version, which doesn’t mean he’s mimicking the predecessor; reinterpretations by other creators often face criticism, but if certain ingredients are no longer available, the new perfume simply won’t smell the same. It’s true that using the same name is misleading, but I repeat: if it doesn’t resemble the original, it ceases to be a great perfume with its own character and timelessness.
