Eau Sacrée de Heeley is pure ecclesiastical incense. The rose and vetiver lighten it, giving it a fresh touch. It’s robust and linear, but with a good vibe. It didn’t surprise me much after trying Botafumeiro by Carner or Malaga Santa by O. Legrand, but I do note the quality of the blend, at the level of Heeley’s best. It’s not my style, but I recommend it if you like good incense or a church-like scent. Rating: 6.5/10
I’m surprised no one has highlighted the rosemary, because after three hours it’s all that remains and it defines the entire dry-down.
