Smells like pure, luminous and pleasant incense, nothing dark like Loewe’s 7. Projects beautifully and leaves a trail wherever you go; people tell me I smell like incense and they love it. It’s my favourite so far: perfect for elegant evenings or to make an impression on a date. They describe it as a young white-clad priest standing at the door of a church, and that’s exactly what it is.
A liturgical and spiritual incense that transports you to an ancient church the moment you spray it. It goes well with Liquides Imaginaires’ Sancti, but Heeley has more refinement, and unlike that one, the citrus notes are very present, giving it a fresh and wearable air. Don’t expect a dense or balsamic incense, nor anything like the extinguished Loewe 7 Natural, which is even lighter and more summery. On my dry skin, it lasts about two hours with good projection, then dries to a tempered drydown as is typical of the house. Ideal for autumn nights, introspection, or cold springs. If you enjoy ecclesiastical scents, this is rich. I’ve said my piece.
A soapy incense that conveys peace, quiet reflection, and silence. Very suitable for meditation. A jewel for the senses.
It’s a liturgical incense but luminous, not dark. Imagine standing in a majestic church with stained-glass windows projecting plays of light, a haze of incense, and the soft scent of freshly lit candles. It blends subtly with the smell of clean sheets, all in perfect harmony. Highly recommended if you like incense-based perfumes.
It reminds me a lot of Bois d’encens; both are dry and potent.
