Without knowing what chinotto is, it smells like a vibrant citrus oil, like a small bitter orange caramelised, with an elegant juniper and incense balsamic accent, mixed with orange blossom and damask rose. The eclectic mix of caramel and vanilla reminds me of marzipan and panna cotta. It’s a super gourmand composition, pleasant, excellent quality, unisex, and with a warm Italian tradition.
It opens with a cheerful fusion of ripe chinotto and a delicate orange blossom. Within minutes, the sweet, enveloping vanilla performs magic by sweetening the citrus. As it dries, it becomes warm and addictive: pure caramel and slightly balsamic vanilla.
It’s a sweet and cheerful perfume, gourmand yet elegant, not cloying. Clean, acidic notes of chinotto emerge, with a touch of citrus and floral orange blossom. After three minutes, the orange blossom caramel smells like sweet Christmas. By 16 minutes, the chinotto dominates with a delicious citrus toffee. At 47 minutes, the chinotto and orange blossom rise above the caramel. By 1 hour 35 minutes, the caramel takes over. At 3 hours 53 minutes, it smells of vanilla-infused chinotto. By 10 hours, only vanilla remains. At 19 hours 44 minutes, it fades from the skin. Projection and trail are high.
