A beautiful unisex fragrance with a slightly feminine touch thanks to the vanilla. It has a lovely trail and lasted more than twelve hours on my skin. I love how the notes blend and highlight the oud. Perfect for cold days.
It leaves me a bit confused. On one hand, it’s a top-tier fragrance: rich, dense, and very wearable; if you think of it as saffron and musky vanilla, it’s one of the best I’ve tried. But of course, it’s called Oud, so anyone looking for something intense, fecal, or medicinal will be disappointed. Here, the oud is barely a whisper, as soft as Tom Ford Oud Wood. The performance is eternal, it settles well on the skin and projects decently for the first few hours. Unisex and super versatile, perfect for daily wear without drawing too much attention. Scent: 8.5, Longevity: 9, Projection: 7, Value for money: 6, Versatility: 8, Originality: 7, Overall: 8.5
Smells almost identical to the original, with an ambrette opening that gives way to a sweetness reminiscent of licorice. The longevity is beastly, but it doesn’t really grab me, and the price seems insane.
