I like it; it’s pretty. Natural muguet and citrus notes, elegant, giving a sense of extreme cleanliness and tidiness. In my opinion, it’s for spring and especially summer due to its freshness. It’s crystal clear at first and powdery afterwards, but that’s its entire evolution for my nose. I see it as suitable for men and women of any age. With moderate to soft sillage, it’s harmless and pleasant for everyone (hence perhaps the name ‘Universalis’). A very wearable fragrance, of good quality, but easy to forget. Ideal for those who want to convey cleanliness and class without offending anyone and without standing out.
I like it; it’s lovely. Natural musk and citrus, elegant, evoking a sense of cleanliness and extreme neatness. In my opinion, it’s for spring and especially summer due to its freshness. It’s crisp at first, then becomes powdery, but that is its entire evolution for my nose. I see it as suitable for men and women of any age. With moderate-to-subtle sillage, it’s inoffensive and pleasant for everyone (perhaps that’s why it’s called ‘universalis’). A very wearable fragrance of good quality, yet easy to forget. A 20€ perfume that smells niche. Overwhelmingly white musk to the point of excess; it feels like Kurkdjian is trying too hard. The citrus notes barely appear in the opening and are disappointing. After 5–10 minutes, all that remains is a soapy scent clinging to the skin. I wouldn’t pay even 20€ for this, but then again, it’s Kurkdjian and it’s ‘Le Male’…
I detect nothing more than detergent on freshly laundered hotel sheets, perhaps faint white florals if I let my imagination run wild. Clean, white, phew… everyone would like it and I don’t find the scent complicated at all.
A perfect perfume for the office. A feeling of cleanliness from start to finish. The only drawback is the longevity, which on my skin is frankly disappointing.
A perfect office perfume. A feeling of cleanliness from start to finish. The pity, at least for me, is the longevity, which on my skin is frankly improvable.
A balanced perfume that gives the sensation of a perfectly ironed and tidy white shirt. It’s rich, fresh and quite unisex. Is it worth the cost? Probably not. I feel that while it is a rich scent, I wouldn’t pay that much for something that a similar fragrance achieves much cheaper. I have the 5ml miniature and I sprayed it half an hour ago and it already smells very close to the skin.

I feel that while it’s a lovely scent, I wouldn’t pay that much for an aroma that a much cheaper similar fragrance could achieve. I have the 5ml miniature that came with my purchase of another MFK perfume. I’ve worn it for half an hour and it’s already very close to the skin.
White shirt, some jeans… plus this excellent balanced perfume between fresh and slightly woody that could be, it doesn’t take up any more space!!! Less is more!!!!

Aquá Universalis ⛵ To me, this cologne is a crisp white linen shirt. Seaside strolls… sunny, hot days. I can’t help but feel wonderful when I wear it. Although it’s a very simple cologne, it evokes in me a super pleasant sensation of purity, well-being, and cleanliness. Lily of the valley, lime, orange blossom, and musk. It doesn’t need anything more to shine. I believe that even if you don’t like citrus perfumes, this one could end up winning your heart as it’s nothing sharp. The truth is, it has incredible longevity for a green aromatic. It’s not elegant… but it exudes a lot of class. It has me hooked ☺. Scent: ⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵ Longevity: ⛵⛵⛵⛵

A perfect fragrance for daily use. The problem is that for the price, they should sell a 5-litre bottle.
Aqua Universalis was my first blind buy based on the trust Maison gave me, but this is the worst by an enormous margin. It smells of white soap on the skin of an 80-year-old who doesn’t like bathing. The opening tries to be clean, but the excess musk with the bergamot ruins everything. In the dry-down, an old, sticky and unpleasant odour takes over. A total rip-off!
Replying to CarlosMHG23: I think it’s very unfair to describe this scent like that. I have bought Aqua Universalis several times and it was my signature for years. It’s a clean, discreet and distinguished perfume, ideal for working at close range, such as in hospitals. It feels like an insult to say such a rude thing.
It’s the quintessential office perfume: crisp white shirt, very pleasant. It’s not impactful, but it’s well-constructed. I don’t associate the citrus notes directly with fruit; instead, the weight comes from crystalline white florals, a fine musk, and subtle woods, giving that ethereal Iso feel without actually being it. Kurkdijan’s vision is beautifully realised, capturing that cleanliness and tidiness. The problem is the price and performance. It fades badly (maximum four hours) with moderate projection, so it loses utility and becomes a fragrance for personal enjoyment at home. I like the scent, but it has a negative downside. There are other styles that don’t reach this price point. Unisex, summery, 100% daytime and versatile… if you don’t mind the poor longevity so much.
Lemon and bergamot usually give me a headache, and here they smell synthetic. I thought MFK would have executed it better, but it’s a disaster; it smells like plastic or latex.
