I bought the 200ml bottle of Cologne pour le matin by Maison Francis Kurkdjian, assuming that as a cologne it would fade quickly due to being light, but quite the opposite: it’s incredibly intense. Notes of bergamot, lavender, Amalfi lemon, thyme, and African orange blossom. It lasts seven hours with a formidable trail; the first hour projects about two metres, then settles but remains noticeable. It smells delicious—fresh yet dense, perfect for summer and spring mornings.
