I tried it and it’s weak: it projects little and has an excessive amount of white musk, that typical Kurkdjian overuse. It’s a clean smell but too faint and indistinct. It doesn’t smell bad, of course. I also tried Aqua Universalis from the same brand and found it poor for its price. They say Xerjoff Nio is the best citrus, though I haven’t tried it. In my opinion, these from Kurkdjian are light years behind those from Atelier Cologne or the classics from A. Goutal.
I did try it and it seems weak to me. It smells very little and has lots of white musk, which Kurkdjian tends to overuse. Too faint and undefined clean scent. Obviously, it doesn’t smell bad. I also tried Aqua Universalis by the same author and found it quite poor for its price. They say the best citrus is Xerjoff Nio, which I haven’t tried. These by Kurkdjian are lightyears below those by Atelier Cologne or even the classics by A. Goutal, in my opinion.
This perfume is a flash of white, fresh, pretty, magical light; it’s the scent I’d assign to fairy dust in Hook. It’s a tinkling musical note that brings joy and personally makes me smile.
I’m not a fan of citrus, but this came in the discovery set. To be mainly citrusy, it hasn’t given me disgust or annoyance. Normally citrus bothers me, not due to allergy, but because personally I don’t want to smell like lemon, tangerine, orange, bergamot, or anything like that, but this didn’t disgust me. Nor did I love it. At first, it was the least I liked, but without rejection. As it evolved, I noticed a more floral and musky citrus. On my skin, the lavender wasn’t noticeable, and I would have liked it. In the end, with its last minutes, it had a highly pleasant smell, a well-blended mix of citrus, floral, and musk. The trail is super poor… it leaves nothing. I applied it to wrists, elbows, and neck, 7 sprays, and after 15 minutes I arrived at work and my colleague couldn’t smell anything. I could perceive it during the first hour occasionally, like a gust. After two hours, I couldn’t even smell it, only skin-deep, I had to bring my nose close. Longevity not bad, it faded by 7 and by 8 it didn’t smell at all. For a luxury, the longevity is fair, not spectacular. It’s not bad, smells nice, and the fact that someone who hates citrus likes it is the best compliment, but I didn’t fall in love, it doesn’t seem original to me, and I won’t buy it.
This perfume has become my favourite citrus. This sweet and super-natural lemon scent, with that touch of orange blossom and a relaxing lavender… makes wearing it in the morning upon waking improve your day. I am truly in love with Mr Kurkdjian’s fragrances, he knows what to do with his nose and his collection is exquisite, I’m delighted. Petit Matin has a moderate but appreciable trail and lasts over 8 hours, I think it’s a magnificent job for a citrus.
I like it but I don’t love it. It reminds me too much of a children’s eau de cologne, specifically the Petit Chéri. It smells very soft, citrusy, and gives a fresh feeling. It has sweet touches that are noticeable from time to time. It’s comfortable, not annoying at all. Normal longevity, projecting softly for three or four hours and then fading away in less than six. I don’t think I’ll buy the large version for now.
It suits me, but it doesn’t really captivate me. It smells very much like a children’s cologne, similar to Petit Cheri. The scent is extremely soft, citrusy, and gives a refreshing feel. There are sweet notes that come through occasionally. It’s comfortable to wear and doesn’t irritate at all. The longevity is average, projecting softly for about three or four hours before fading away in under six. I don’t think I’ll buy the larger bottle for now.
Millionaire baby cologne. Soft, citrusy, fresh, summery, clean, slightly floral… nothing special at a golden price. NEXT!
It’s a multi-millionaire baby cologne: soft, citrusy, fresh, summery, clean, and slightly floral… nothing special at a gold price. NEXT!
This time, I agree with other comments. I wore it today; I have a decant of the small Woman’s Olfactory Wardrobe from the house. A pleasant, citrusy, clean, soft aroma, perfect for daily use in any season. In summer, it’s great for daytime and lovely in the evenings, though it seems to dissipate more in winter with the cold. It evokes childhood memories, of eau de cologne after a fresh bath. It’s a luminous and light scent, like a feather. The trail is light too, then it turns slightly sweet and ambered. HOWEVER, compared to other Kurkdjian fragrances, I wouldn’t pay the price it commands. If it were a gift, I’d use it regularly, but I would invest that money in another fragrance without hesitation. It’s not a special or distinctive scent. It reminds me of other lemony and soft fragrances, very comfortable to wear, but lacking a marked personality. It sounds like others of the type ‘Escale à Portofino’ by Dior, or even the original ‘212’ EDT by Carolina Herrera. Its trail lasts longer than other budget options, but others smell similar and offer better value for money.
In this case, I agree with others. I wore it today; I have a decant from the house’s olfactory female wardrobe. Pleasant scent, citrusy, clean, soft, perfect for daily wear, any season, although in summer daytime and evenings it shines more than in winter, where it dilutes with the cold. It brings back childhood memories, of eau de cologne after a bath. It’s luminous and light, like a feather. A fine trail that later becomes sweet and ambered, BUT compared to other Kurkdjians, I wouldn’t pay the price. If it were a gift, I would use it, but I’d invest that money in something else without hesitation. It’s not a special or different scent. It reminds me of other soft lemonades, very comfortable but without marked personality. Like Dior’s ‘Escale à Portofino’ or C. Herrera’s ‘212’ EDT. More long-lasting than other budget options, but others smell similar and better justify the price.
Citrus, floral, and musky cologne. High-quality lemon and orange blossom define its character; as it dries, it becomes soapy. It’s a family classic taken up a few notches in scent. Forget the dust of Kurkdjian’s 724, but it does have that dry soap musk at the end. I imagine the hawthorn flower gives it that white floral with an almost imperceptible sweetness. Very pleasant, ideal for spring and summer, but it lacks the differentiating touch of a niche house. Not for elegant situations or status marking, unlike the 724 or Aqua Universalis Forte. I see it as perfect for men, women, or children who want to smell clean and soapy, evoking the sun and peace of childhood, although that aromatic excellence is the only justification for its price. For wallets that can afford it. Moderate longevity, acceptable on clothes, regular projection. Scent: 8/10; Exclusivity: 2/10; Performance: 6/10; Versatility: 7/10; Price: 4/10
