Scent Sheer by CoSTUME NATIONAL is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2003, the nose behind this composition is Laurent Bruyere. The top notes are green tea, myrtle and bergamot; the heart notes, jasmine, hibiscus (Jamaica flower, cayenne) and rose; and the base notes, musk, white amber, vanilla and patchouli.

First, a thousand thanks to Shiseido for gifting me this fragrance in 100ml format. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I already own three of the six ‘Scent ______’ scents, and this is the lightest, freshest, and the one that smells most of green tea; it’s perfect when you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed by the heat. It smells like wet hair, freshly bathed… and if you sniff it properly, there’s a lingering floral musky note at the base… that one Narciso Rodríguez would do well to review for a potential lawsuit, haha. It’s very soft; I find it comfortable to wear during the day, especially in the morning or when I need to get up early, when I fancy something light and unobtrusive, or before bed; for doing yoga or simply running. A proper fraîche.
