Agree with Yulieta: a boozy rose, violet, and powdery cream scent. What a beautiful fragrance! It reminds me greatly of Tresor, though this one is more subtle. Delicious—I simply love it!
Update: Spring has arrived, and on warm days it has improved. The opening is of macerated apricots (not fresh ones, which can be overwhelming in the heat), and after half an hour, it settles into a fruity base with a delicate, sweet floral bouquet. It remains soft but lasts a maximum of two or three hours. Perhaps it is my pH, as when I open the bottle, I smell an exquisite combination of violet and rose, which I cannot quite capture when applied. I wish it smelled like that on my skin. I bought it blind and still haven’t deciphered its essence. In the opening, there is that typical apricot note from the 90s (in the style of Tresor, Jaipur, or Kashaya), but after half an hour, it leaves a soft, slightly sweet, floral, and indefinible scent that is almost imperceptible unless you press your nose to it. It lasts another hour. Zero sillage, zero fixative, and no trace on clothes. I searched for it because of Lalique and found it at a good price. The bottle is a beauty, a work of art; mine has the kiss in the centre that changes depending on the angle. I will give it a chance in spring. For now, I think the beauty of the packaging justifies the purchase.
I do not detect pepper on my skin; it is sweet. In fact, I even thought it had vanilla. I smell lots of amber, rose, and gardenia with sweet, juicy blackcurrant and soft but intense sandalwood. I see myself paired with lace, ribbons, precious stones, cream tones, champagne skin, silver, and gold. In the dry-down, I note jasmine and amber. I agree: it is like a good glass of sweet wine that invites and recreates a feast and a celebration. Definitely not for the office, but for special occasions, evenings, or nights, and in my opinion, when it is cold. Do you have plans to enjoy treatments worthy of a Queen? Let them serve the table of delights and rejoice with Le Baiser. It reminded me of Kenzo’s Kashaya, but this one is more refined and creamy floral. It has the good quality of Lalique, which adds to it. It is very feminine and distinctive. Apart from taste, it is for mature women, not for young girls.
It is like a glass of wine made of rose petals: sweet, tender, and fruity. A symphony of thousands of luminous roses with a bright touch of pepper. The gardenia is also very noticeable, soft and incredibly beautiful. The base is slightly vanilla, creamy, and powdery, although I do not detect much violet; the dry rose powder is better, warm and fine, with a subtle musk note. An adorable fragrance.
