Little is said about this perfume, and smelling it was a great surprise. The opening features sweet blackcurrants with a host of fruits. At first, I couldn’t identify them and it sounded like a cocktail, but checking the notes reveals peach, pineapple, and pear. The vanilla is present throughout. As it dries down, the caramel takes centre stage and becomes the star. It’s not a dupe nor does it smell like Mon Paris, but they are cousins. If you like that blend, you’ll surely enjoy Caprice de Marie. Lasts over six hours on the skin with a moderate sillage. It’s a fruity scent that sounds familiar, yet I can’t quite place where I’ve heard it before. At first, it smells super fresh and fruity; the peach stands out with a hint of pineapple and pear. The blackcurrants are there, though I didn’t notice them as much. It’s fresh, sparkling, cheerful, and feminine. I would definitely buy the full bottle.
