I’ve tried several Arab perfumes and they’ve all been disappointing. This one, which I approached with caution due to the musk, has surprised me: the lavender with its floral notes and the musk create something cheerful and light, perfect for daytime wear. However, that’s where it ends. Once it dries down, I notice that same identical scent I’ve encountered with other Arab fragrances before, which I initially mistook for my imagination; it smells like makeup or eyeliner from that area. I’m not smitten by that dry-down. It’s a good perfume, but I think I’ll stay away from Arab scents.
