A very well-balanced citrus-floral fragrance. Upon spraying, there is a fleeting alcohol note that quickly dissipates; it is fresh with a perfect balance between citrus and floral. It is quite powdery; I am sure it carries an undisclosed iris note. It is shy, lacking the performance we have come to expect from Al Haramain: soft projection and 4-5 hours of longevity on the skin. For summer fragrances that are citrusy and volatile, it fits perfectly. Although its performance did not convince me 100%, I acknowledge the composition is good, harmonious, elegant, and novel. It is ideal for the office, a signature for those who want an intimate, friendly, and clean scent. I have always felt that iris denotes purity, and this fragrance makes me feel that way.

Upon trying it, I initially mistook it for the Royal Musk Collection; the seller and I had to check the boxes as they are very similar. Unlike the other, this Royal Musk smells more rustic, yet nicely so, with a well-worked pepper note that I adore. It reminded me of the floral accords in Hermès Eau de Gentiane Blanche, without being a clone. I still believe the collection is geared more towards girls, which is a pity as I appreciate how some notes are crafted. I agree with the previous review: it is powdery, though only in the dry-down phase. It is also intimate and suited for heat. I cannot comment on performance as I tested it on blotter paper, but I noted it is not a powerhouse in projection.
