I bought it blind and the opening is very similar to Cool Water, but that sensation lasts only two hours; afterwards, a herbal and cold aroma emerges which is brilliant. It works better in spring and summer, ideal for those over 30. Presentation 10/10, projection 8/10, longevity 8.5/10, and scent 9/10. It’s the closest thing to Creed Green Irish Tweed I’ve found.

  • I bought it blind along with the Blue Edition and had to sell it. It’s not bad; quite the opposite. The opening recalls Creed Aventus with less salt. I have it in decant compared to Aventus and they are very similar. I’m not a fan of Aventus or Cool Water due to the salty notes, but this is fresher and soapy, like you’ve just come out of a beach shower with blue soap. It has nothing to do with Aqua di Gio. The presentation is top-notch, and the longevity and projection are excellent. It’s worth it for those who love fresh and marine scents, although I personally don’t like smelling like this.

If you already own Tres Nuit by Armaf, Al Haramain Carbon feels a bit redundant, although the quality is different and Armaf’s isn’t bad either. As a collector, I’ll keep both.

I bought it blind and the opening smells like Cool Water, but it lasts only two hours. Then it changes to something herbal and cold, which is great. It suits me better in spring and summer, ideal for those over 30. Presentation 10/10, projection 8, longevity 8.5, and scent 9. It’s the closest thing to Green Irish Tweed I’ve tried.

No one has said it smells exactly like Perry Ellis Reserve, but since it’s one of my all-time top ten fragrances, I confirm it. Furthermore, its citrus and aquatic notes give a very clear nod to Davidoff’s Cool Water. If you like those, it’s a must-have for your collection.

  • It doesn’t seem to be an exact clone of Green Irish Tweed; I don’t like it much, it has a lavender note that doesn’t convince me, but I am wearing it and it is very fresh. For the price, I would not recommend it, but if it is on offer then yes. The performance is excellent. If you are from Chile and want a GIT clone, 100% better is Kiss Me I’m Irish by Pastor Fragrances; that is something else entirely.

  • It’s not an exact clone of Green Irish Tweed and I’m not convinced by that lavender, but it is very fresh. I wouldn’t recommend it for the price unless it’s on offer. The performance is top. If you are from Chile and looking for a GIT clone, Kiss Me Im Irish by Pastor Fragrances is 100% better.

  • Fresh and relaxing are my first impressions. I’ve worn it twice and have already received compliments. Ideal for any day and occasion.

  • I bought a 5ml decant and have never tried Creed’s GIT. What I can say is that it’s a Cool Water with steroids, with better longevity and projection. Of this DNA, I only own the Davidoff Cool Water and the UDV Blue by Ulric de Varens, which seems weaker than the CW. I will buy a decant of the Green Irish Tweed to compare, but I will also buy this one because it has excellent projection and longevity, which is ultimately what people look for, and that’s why I think it’s worth it.

  • I bought a 5ml decant and had never tried Creed’s GIT. This is a Cool Water on steroids, with better longevity and projection. Of this DNA, I only have Davidoff’s Cool Water and Ulric de Varens’ UDV Blue, which seem weaker to me. I’m going to buy a decant of the GIT to compare, but also this one because it has very good projection and longevity, and in the end, that’s what matters.

  • If you came here because of the resemblance to GIT, keep reading. Amber Oud Carbon is like smelling your brother-in-law, whereas GIT is like smelling Gary Oldman. The doubt is settled.

It doesn’t last even 4 hours! It projects for half an hour, maybe 45 minutes, and then, goodbye. It might be due to maceration or something similar, but it didn’t last at all for me. Yes, it’s like a Cool Water with more punch at the start, but I think my original Cool Water lasted longer. On top of that, it’s ridiculously expensive in my country.

  • chamuco638

Since I couldn’t afford a GIT, I went for this after trying several options. It smells 90% the same, easily lasts 8 hours, and has a trail of 2 to 3 hours.

It’s a citrusy, soapy, masculine fragrance. For freshness and projection, I’d give it an 8/10. At $40 in Chile, it’s one of my favourites.

  • Short review: I absolutely hated this perfume; it smells exactly like GIT, just like a hen’s egg to a chestnut. What imagination must someone have.

  • It’s that scent that leaves you feeling super clean and fresh, perfect for looking sharp and impeccable. It reminds me of Cool Water and Tres Nuit, but it’s not a clone. I’ve never tried the original Green Irish Tweed. It lasts about 5 hours, though I reapply midday because the trail is short. Today at the office, someone said, ‘Smells nice,’ but nothing more. PS: Some inattentive people might think it smells like detergent or soap, but I love it and really enjoy wearing it.
