  • It is Boucheron’s Sauvage. A purely contemporary and modern scent, typical of the current ‘blue fragrance’ era. I detect a heavy load of Ambroxan rather than the declared notes (it seems more herbal or vintage, nothing like what’s advertised). On the plus side, it’s an EDP with quite good longevity, superior to similar Sauvage-inspired scents. I see it as suitable for evening wear and as a less expensive substitute. It’s a fragrance that doesn’t have much to distinguish itself from others in its category.

  • It’s a generic masculine fragrance. Smells like deodorant or shower gel. I’d gift it to my father or a man older than myself; it doesn’t feel youthful. I understand the Ambroxan reference, but this is more basic. It smells pleasant, yet it’s neither challenging nor novel. Two hours of projection, lasting seven or eight hours on skin with good presence.

  • Citrusy with delicate herbs, featuring bergamot and sage. Fresh, uplifting and restorative. It breaks the monotony, very French and super refreshing. Daytime, masculine and fleeting.

  • A citrus fragrance with fine herbs. Fresh, with notes of bergamot peel and sage. It brightens, generates well-being, and doesn’t blend into the uniform crowd. Very French, very refreshing, daytime and masculine. A little fleeting though.

  • Not much is said about this one and it tends to go unnoticed. It’s blue and fresh upon spraying, citrusy/marine. But be careful, that’s only at the start; as it dries down, a clean lavender and ambroxanised note emerges that immediately reminds you of a Sauvage, and it stays that way until the end. It’s a good option within the line because, being an EDP and at a good price, it offers better quality, longevity, and projection than the Dior Sauvage (even its EDP).

Watch out, don’t be fooled: it’s not a clone of Sauvage, although they share some DNA. This is a YSL Y Intense Parfum with more bergamot as it dries down, a floral and sweet touch, and less wood. The scent isn’t groundbreaking, but it oozes class, freshness, and quality. It has projection and longevity far above average at a very reasonable price. 100% versatile for day or night, though I see it as more of a spring-autumn scent. One of my favourites in the collection.

Take care not to be misled: it is not a clone of Sauvage, although they share some elements. This is YSL Y Intense Parfum with more bergamot as it dries, a floral and sweet touch, and less wood. The scent isn’t novel, but it exudes class, freshness, and quality. Did you notice it has the same notes as Y Intense? (This one came out a year earlier!). Just read the reviews to see how social media inflates opinions… Almost identical to Y Intense, but here there are only negative reviews.

  • Good vibes, masculine and with a hook. It’s very close to the old Dior Sauvage EDT but without that hint of pepper that defines the other. Its mission is to confuse you, the prey, until they hack your olfactory brain. I love it because it’s distinguished, exactly what I’m looking for. Ideal for night-time summer outings, especially. I’m sure some girls will want to cling to your neck to smell you. Be careful with the bet. I’d love to see another Boucheron performance version based on this.

A bloody brilliant blue given its quality-to-price ratio and good longevity. The aroma is very close to the YSL Y saga and Prada Luna Rossa Carbon. If you don’t have any blue at home, if you’re fed up with the overly feminine blues from Dior, Chanel, Versace, Prada… and you want a good all-rounder that’s elegant, mature, economical, and always leaves a good impression while being different from the sheepish masses, get it.

I bought Singulier blindly due to the reviews and because I own Jaipur, a refined perfume. This isn’t the case with Singulier; with this, Boucheron has dropped a few rungs. It’s a lush green with violet tones that reminds me a lot of O Boticario’s Malbec, though with less spectrum, and others sharing components: coumarin, linalool, citronella, geraniol, cinnamon, ionone… and the controversial BHT. If it had a touch of orange instead of violet, it would be similar to Maison Alhambra’s Allure or Cool Water. They play in the same league. I bought it with a heavy discount, almost at V&R prices, but it wasn’t worth it. There will be those who like it, but for me, its components are rough and give me an abrasive sensation on the nose, nothing like a Le Beau by JPG or Spicebomb by V&R.

  • Boucheron Singulier is one I don’t understand why almost no one talks about. In terms of quality, price and performance, it’s the perfect blue. Designed as a signature to look good in any situation, being exactly what a proper man seeks in a daily scent. An all-rounder with general appeal, it goes with a t-shirt and trainers or a suit. Smells very good, literally like a clean, mature man, freshly showered. Juniper, lavender, sage and vetiver. Strong opening, lasts well for 7-8 hours, which many would kill for. Excellent performance. Ideal season: spring, valid for summer and mild autumn. Indoors, all year round. There aren’t many flaws to find, if any. Very good perfume. It’s one of those traditional aromas I believe will return with force. If I’m not mistaken, I bought the 100ml for barely €40. Seeing how the market is, it seems like a steal.

Lovely fragrance from Boucheron. Difficult to publish a review, it’s like keeping a secret. Excellent quality, good price (€32 at Druni), clean, fresh, neat and pleasant aroma that feels very good (at least on my skin), with a delicious trail. For those over 30, I don’t feel it’s youthful, but rather for someone mature, calm and clear-minded. I imagine it for everyday wear, spring-summer and part of autumn; it’s also an option for evening outings due to its elegant touch. Highly recommended.

  • Nariz Feliz

A little gem from Boucheron. Hard to put into words because it’s like keeping a secret. Top quality, good price (€32 at Druni), clean, fresh and crisp scent. Delicious trail. For over 30s, not youthful but mature and calm. Perfect for everyday wear, spring and summer, and a bit of autumn. Also great for the afternoon thanks to its elegance. Highly recommended.

  • Boucheron Singulier, the blue that leaves a mark. It presents itself with the clarity of a bright sky, fresh and impeccable. From the very first moment, it awakens the senses with cleanliness and purity, like a luminous morning breeze. It’s refreshing, elegant and brilliant, without being strident. Each note is perceived naturally, with a constant impact. It distinguishes itself from other blues by its own character. There are reminiscences of fresh aromas, but here everything has a different pulse, more defined and memorable. It invites repetition, settling in effortlessly as a signature, a daily companion that reinforces presence and elegance. Ideal for everyday wear, a neat and pleasant sensation, enveloping without overwhelming. Every moment feels cared for, with a gesture of sophistication. It’s not just perceived, it’s remembered. Its freshness is elegant, its blue brilliant and discreet, leaving an imprint that makes you feel secure, clean and distinguished. In short, it’s subtly contrasting, fresh, clean and brilliant, with the strength to stand out and become a personal olfactory signature. Toni Diaz.

Boucheron Singulier. Buying blind based on price is always risky. Lately, I buy bargains, obscure brands, or houses that were successful decades ago but now have nothing in the windows. Boucheron had great success with Jaipur in the 90s. Given the price, I didn’t expect much… what a surprise! One of the best blue fragrances I’ve tried. It surprises with a sharp marine and salty opening, followed by a cedar forest after rain and a field of lavender. The surprise came when I waited for the initial notes to pass… and I waited, I waited, and I waited. It seemed freshly applied even two hours later. Neither Dior Sauvage nor Ralph Lauren Polo Blue offered such longevity. Incredible. As I walked and retraced my steps, the fragrance remained there, as if just atomised. Curiously, I find very few declared notes. I recommend it for day, night, formal and informal outings, and any season. It’s a wonderful fragrance, unfairly overshadowed by perfumes that aren’t half as good yet have a reputation for knowing what they’re doing. The only negative is the atomiser: it loses too much perfume when applying. Perhaps it’s my bottle. I recommend it wholeheartedly. Rating: 10/10.

Boucheron Singulier. Buying blindly at this price is always a gamble. Lately, I buy deals from obscure houses or brands that were successful decades ago but no longer have anything in their boutiques. Boucheron had a great success with Jaipur in the 90s. Given the price, I didn’t expect much… what a surprise! One of the best blues I’ve tried. It opens marine with a sharp sea salt note, followed by post-rain cedar and a field of lavender. The surprise is that it still smells freshly applied two hours later. Neither Sauvage nor Polo Blue last like this. Incredible. As I walk, it remains there, as if just atomised. Curiously, I notice few of the declared notes. I recommend it for day, night, formal and informal outings, any season. It’s wonderful, unfairly ignored by worse perfumes with undeserved fame. The only negative is the atomiser: it loses a lot of perfume. Perhaps it’s my bottle. I recommend it wholeheartedly. 10/10.

  • Best suited for winters that aren’t too cold and summers that aren’t too humid; outside of that, it’s delicious. Perfect for almost any occasion, day or night. It’s casual but with an elegant touch. A delightful aroma with good projection and reasonable longevity: 2-3 hours of trail, then just a personal bubble. I feel it’s more appropriate for those over 30.

  • It’s good and lasts. I perceive it as a marriage between Bleu de Chanel and Bleu Noir (EdT) by Narciso Rodriguez. Subtle yet present, unique and fresh, perfect as a signature scent or for daily office use.

  • Classic blue with a mature edge, featuring sharp notes of lavender and juniper that are clearly defined. The dry-down is typical for blues, with a woody base, intense opening, and interesting longevity. Ideal for everyday wear in any season. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality scent that delivers more than it promises, Boucheron Singulier is your choice.
