I tested it on the 24th at 4pm and, waking up today, it still smells. The dry-down is much richer than at first, although the initial projection is already good and special.
What a proper gentleman’s fragrance! Delicious, strong, with unimaginable longevity. It’s sweet, enigmatic and powerful; a divine blend. On my skin the amber shines and the Peru balsam is perfectly dosed. You won’t go unnoticed, but do try before you buy as it’s not for everyone. I absolutely love it: with just two or three sprays it lasts over 24 hours and clings to clothes. The fixatives are top-notch. If you want to leave a trail, go for it! It’s not for the supermarket or the office, but perfect for making an impression. I’d recommend using a small amount in enclosed spaces. I bought the 30ml bottle six months ago and, with so few sprays, it lasts an age. I’ll definitely be repurchasing with a larger bottle.

I absolutely adore it. I discovered it after using the original Quattre and what a wonder. At first you detect the mandarin and neroli, which I love, but soon they settle and highlight the balsam, patchouli and above all the amber, one of my favourite notes. Luckily, the vetiver is quite soft. It’s floral, sweet, exquisite and has a dry/powdery touch that exudes elegance. It reminds me of some scented leaves inherited from my cousin when I was little, those little agenda pads that smell exactly the same. A great discovery at an incredible price.
I love it so much. I discovered it after using the original Quatre and what a wonder. In the opening, you can detect the tangerine and the neroli, which I adore. They settle quickly and the balsam, patchouli and above all the amber appear, one of my favourite notes. Luckily the vetiver is soft. It is floral, sweet, exquisite, with a dry/powdery touch. It exudes elegance and refinement, reminding me of scented leaves I inherited from my cousin when I was little. A great discovery at an incredible price.
I agree with the previous ones: it is a special perfume due to its intensity. The first time I did not like it because of the opening potency, although I am a fan of strong ones like Mugler’s Angel, this one surpassed it. I left it for a few days and one morning it ‘called’ to me and I felt like wearing it. Magic happened… I loved that power that filled me with energy and vitality. I will use it more often before the heat, but always on special occasions.

In my office it causes a sensation. It is a perfume that helps you project an aura of power without crossing the line. It is warm, lasts a very long time and leaves a trail that is simply wonderful.
It is super intense and heavy; it can give you a headache, although in August perhaps I am not objective… It is related, without being a clone, to My Burberry Black, L’Interdit Rouge and Zara’s Ebony Wood. The three share something I cannot define, but it is a nocturnal perfume, elegant and for going out well made up. I have not tried the Tom Ford to form an opinion. I will update on longevity and trail when I try it thoroughly… the bottle with the rotating cap is a marvel.

At first, it smells very similar to L’Interdit Rouge, but the neroli is sweeter. After ten minutes, it turns into amber, dense and intense; the Peru balsam gives it a greasy and viscous, sweet touch. It clings to clothes for days, although the trail is not wide, only the opening floods everything. It is for women aged 30 or 35, it gives you confidence and lasts about 7 or 8 hours. I reapply to feel the opening again; it is excellent value and has made me addicted.
I bought a decant out of curiosity, thinking of the resemblance to Interdit Rouge which had me fascinated… It turns out to be very intense; the opening startled me a bit, I thought it was for over 35s. Whoever says this is for the office must be a senior executive. For me, it is for going out at night; the ripe, sweet-sour raspberries seem to make a dark jelly over the neroli, very elegant and versatile. It sits densely on the skin without bothering anyone, ideal for enclosed spaces.
I bought it blindly because people said it resembled Givenchy’s L’Interdit Rouge, but on my nose, they have not a shred of relation. I know everyone smells differently, but honestly, I see neither the similarity nor the same vibe. I won’t even talk about longevity because, unfortunately, I don’t like it and I’m already selling it. It was disappointing; if you are looking for the typical neroli of that other perfume, this one does not have them.
I was looking for Quatre and stumbled upon this at a bargain price for a trip, without fear of losing it. What a surprise! It smells mysterious and deep, nothing like what I’ve tried before. It lasts forever and its potency surprises me; what I notice most is the amber and Peru balsam, with a patchouli that appears unexpectedly. I’d only recommend it if you have tough skin, as it is dense and powerful.
