What a surprise to find such scents in affordable fragrances! That’s why I don’t judge by price. It has everything: that rollercoaster of emotions in its evolution, challenging yet understandable, with nothing weird but its own unique point. It starts with leather, woods, and an earthy darkness; then the benzoin comes out, dark but sweet. Elegant, very masculine, seductive and attractive. For me, 9/10. Fully recommended, at least give it a try.
My first blind buy and, what luck. At first, the opening was heavy and I didn’t like it, almost regretting it. But within minutes it improved incredibly; a friend noticed it better than at the start and my colleagues enjoyed it too. I recommend trying it first. I give it 9/10, though the 10 belongs to the Gold Edition. Note, not for heat: with two sprays inside and four outside in the cold, you’re ready to triumph.
This was my first blind purchase and luck was on my side. A friend told me it smelled better than at first, so I asked others and they liked it. I recommend testing it before buying the bottle. I’d give it 9/10, because for me 10 is the Gold Edition, but beware: don’t wear it in the heat. Two sprays inside and four outside in cold weather and you’re ready to shine.
An absolute gem. Dense, potent, and with that darkness the name promises. Smells like real luxury, much more expensive than it is. Pure masculinity in perfume form.
Tried it today and what a pleasant surprise. It doesn’t say oud or iris, but perhaps the blend of declared notes gives that exquisite sensation. It’s not a dupe of F* Fabulous by Tom Ford at all, barely a hint of iris at the start, but that’s it, this is different. In terms of longevity, I’ve worn it for 7 hours and it’s still going; you don’t need more than 5 sprays, it’s efficient and elegant. Don’t use it in heat or people will insult you, or in the worst case, you’ll feel intoxicated. For me, another 9/10.
Yesterday I took a good opportunity to try it: a visit to the Casino de Montréal on a crisp night (14°C), something special and elegant. Although my girlfriend said it smelled like an older person, I love it. It has an easy-to-use oud wood scent, elegant and masculine. ⚠️The longevity and trail are excellent. I applied it generously at 5pm and at 3am it was still strong. On clothes… no need to say, it lasts for days, almost adhering. 𝑷𝑫: I’m sorry love if you didn’t like it, but I’m going to keep using it ❤️ For the gossips: we won about $70, but then we lost it. In summary, we lost the same amount the perfume costs.

It’s not designed to go unnoticed, neither in terms of longevity nor that imposing scent. It’s dark, with woods and leathers, and an interesting oriental touch. It’s not for everything; it’s cool and for nightwear. But overall, I’ve liked it. 8/10.
Grabbed the 60ml for €30 for the performance and because it smells like FUCKING FABULOUS, which I wanted to try. It’s a very polarising scent: at first, 90-99% of people smell ZOTÁL (yes, the animal disinfectant), and I dare anyone who doesn’t recognise it. I think describing it this way is useful for everyone to understand, unless it’s for selling… Is it bad? No, it’s original. They manage to blend leather, incense, lavender, and cardamomo, and that touch of extreme cleanliness akin to camphor gives it a strange yet sophisticated vibe. It only suits very elegant occasions, because it’s the only thing where being so unusual makes sense. Very niche. Blind buy? Not on your life, only for freaks like me who gradually get on board. I assume I won’t receive compliments, but RARE AND DIFFERENT, I’ll wear it for a while 😄. Performance: nothing out of this world, perhaps olfactory fatigue, 4-5 hours on skin with moderate projection. It feels a bit messy and will improve with maceration, as it’s very potent straight out of the bottle. Presentation is excellent, like the whole AMBER OUD line. Notes: Scent 5, Longevity 6.5, Projection 6.5, Presentation 8.5, Value 8.5. Final score: 7.
