  • Smells very good for the first hour, then there’s something that puts me off a bit. I identify that ‘cleaning’ aroma, but not of personal hygiene, rather of cleaning products. It’s not bad per se; that scent is always welcome, but should it be worn as a fragrance? I have doubts, probably wouldn’t choose it. Note, if someone wears it they won’t scare anyone away; it’s a harmless scent. Excellent longevity.

A beast, a monster for the heat. Scent: It’s well citrusy, fresh, and there’s a note that feels like Te Verde, a bit soapy but balanced (unlike the Kaiak Urbe which smells like chemical soap). In short, you feel like applying it constantly. Longevity: Massive, it’s an Extrait de Parfum, lasts a minimum of eight hours and even longer on clothes. Projection: Massive, lots of compliments. One who wears perfumes wants people to say ‘that smells rich, I can smell your perfume’ and this has happened to me quite a bit. 100/10 Buy it blind, exquisite and the scent is the most pleasant for the heat.

  • Exquisite, the definition of ‘smells clean’, totally recommended for daily use. Excellent price and performance. One of my favourites.

I bought a sample on blotter and filled the room with scent for four days. If you want to smell clean and soapy, buy it; it lasts a treat and is rich, but it’s not for everyone. If you have the option to try it, do so, because not everyone likes smelling like soap. I haven’t tried the Imagination, but I did have a similar one and it’s true that not everyone likes the soapy scent.

This perfume gives me mixed feelings. I like the soapy dry-down and it doesn’t evolve much further. The main issue is its very synthetic citrus opening; to me, it reminds me more of a cleaning product or Raid than a Quicksilver. It’s not entirely unpleasant because later a very marked (synthetic) citrus note appears (lasts about 20 minutes) before giving way to the soapy scent. Another ‘issue’ is that it causes olfactory fatigue; after a while it seems to have gone, but just while I was writing this review, on the second day of use, a colleague asked if I’d put on new perfume and loved the scent. I don’t recommend buying it blind, but it seems women adore it. Scent: 9/10 Sillage: 7/10 Projection: 10/10 Olfactory Fatigue: 20/10 I haven’t heard the Imagination, but regardless of whether it’s similar or not, it’s a great perfume. If you don’t pay more than $60 for the 100ml version, it’s a good buy.

  • Beautiful daddy, a trail and a fierce potency. What does it smell like? When dry, it basically smells of high-quality soap, clean, neat, the hygiene of a tidy man who likes to smell good. Those who say they don’t like it probably don’t even bathe and are scared of soap.

  • alpacavelluda

Incredible, it smells fresh and is ideal for everyday wear. It lasts a treat and smells amazing.

  • Nicomandressi

A rich perfume, citrusy and very herbal, it smells clean, as if you’ve just showered with herbal soap and shampoo and stepped out of the bath. Very fresh and citrusy, you can detect the melon and pineapple. Perfect for summer and the heat, nothing cloying or sweet. Not recommended for cold climates. Ideal for anything you do in the heat. Very clean scent. My girlfriend loves it and I think it suits any age.

This is an absolute banger. For $60, you won’t find anything like this. It’s the kind of scent that makes girls fall for you and draws people in. Buy it blind; it never fails. Projects more than it lasts, it’s a potent extract, and you couldn’t ask for more. Scent: 8/10 Projection: 9/10 Longevity: 7/10 Value: 10/10

  • Worth mentioning that I’m a teenager and this was my first Arabic perfume besides getting it at a good price. About this fragrance, honestly, I found it rich mainly due to those green and tea notes it has. As for longevity, I noticed around 8 hours with 3 of them projecting well. I recommend trying it as it may not be your ideal daily scent due to associations with high-quality cleaning products, though I received good compliments from classmates. This perfume is very good for heat over 27 degrees in places like school/work or for emergencies. Recommend macerating for 2 months as the scent improves greatly. Scent: 8/10. Longevity: 8/10. Sillage: 7/10. Compliments: 7/10.

I’m realising I’m adding Arabic perfumes to my collection and bought it yesterday. The atomiser is brilliant, literally insecticide-style, haha. The scent is fresh, clean, making you feel neat, freshly bathed, freshly ironed shirt, all the good bits of a citrus. Longevity 10/10: lasted on my clothes for a day and hours more. On skin too, it lasts quite a while, around 8-10 hours. The trail is best-in-class for about two and a half hours, maybe more depending on sprays. Again, thanks Arabic perfumery for everything.

  • Does it smell like soap? YES. For me it’s 100% soapy all the time and also very linear, but that soapy smell is very rich and elegant. I liked it a lot and especially because I look for perfumes that project strongly and last quite a while as my skin doesn’t help much, so this perfume suited me perfectly. It has excellent performance. Lasted on my skin at least 8 hours and projected strongly for the first two. I recommend it for the day and hot climates. Does it project? Elegance and freshness. I recommend it more for casual and semi-formal occasions but not for strict etiquette. My rating: Scent: 8/10. Longevity: 9/10. Projection: 8.5/10.

  • Generally liked by everyone. More green than blue, good longevity for the perfume style it is, great price-quality ratio. Excellent summer option. Not as fresh as I thought, in extreme heat perhaps it’s not as light.

  • Scent 9/10: A citrus opening that dries down to literally a rich, sweet, fresh soap. Recommended for daily wear, but apply it an hour before going out as the opening is intense and some don’t like it; over time it dries to a delicious and addictive smell for you and others. Projection 10/10: Giving it 10/10, whenever I wear it everyone asks how much perfume I’ve put on. It’s a beast, though using little leaves plenty of scent, so don’t overdo it in enclosed spaces or apply 30-40 minutes in advance. It’s exquisite when dry but the opening is an intense citrus that reaches everyone. Longevity 10/10: Also 10/10. Lasts 6-7 hours on skin in intense heat, impressive for this style which usually fades after 5 hours. In normal weather it lasts over 7 hours on skin and impregnates clothes for days, so the rating is justified. Price 6/10: I don’t consider it good value in my country; here it costs around $110, a madness for an Arabic dupe. I have the means to pay and it offers much, but I still find it pricey. If you’re on a tight budget, I wouldn’t recommend it; at that price you could buy three Arabic scents for other occasions and not always use the same one. If you live in the USA, buy from JomaShop for $50-60 and it would be 10/10. If you live in LATAM or another more expensive country, I’d think twice. Final verdict: 8.75/10 (9.5/10 if not for the price). Price 6/10 (10/10 if you live in the USA). Scent 9/10. Longevity 10/10. Projection 10/10.

  • From the first time I tried it, this fragrance managed to conquer me completely. So much so that I’m currently on my second bottle… and it’s nearing empty again. In my search for alternatives with a similar DNA, I decided to buy a decant of Hawas Kobra. I must admit that, in the opening, Kobra surprised me positively and even seemed superior in that first impact; however, with real use it failed to offer me half the performance or sensations that this Al Haramain proposal gives me. At least today, as I’m using it again, it’s been close to 12 hours on my skin and I still clearly sense it with me. And that, in this type of fragrance, weighs heavily.

  • A sparkling citrus, reaches its maximum potential with heat. Smells very clean and fresh. Longevity is excellent; I’ve tested it up to 37°C and it works spectacularly. Even with strong wind the fragrance doesn’t lose projection. I don’t apply more than 5 sprays as otherwise it becomes annoying. Recommended for daily wear, to smell clean and fresh. Performs best in summer-spring. The aromatic quality is very good, doesn’t feel like typical Arabic perfumes. 100% recommended, has brought me plenty of compliments.

I bought it this week and was hooked instantly. No need to macerate to enjoy it; I’ll update my review in two months after letting it settle. Scent: Initially green, sweet, and citrusy, like a garden with sweet leaves. After 10-15 minutes, the herbs fade, leaving the citrus and a clean, refreshing note. On skin, it smells like freshly exfoliated and bathed body. Some say it smells like soap, others like white Dove bar, but to me, the heart reminds me of a man straight from the shower. For me, it’s a comforting complement, not meant to attract attention, yet on others it smells incredibly pleasant and striking. Makes a good impression. Vibe: Casual, calm, neat. Longevity: 5-6 hours on skin and up to 12 on clothes with 5 sprays (3 on the neck, 2 on the wrists). Hoping it improves with settling, as it’s an extrait de parfum. Sillage: Light, not heavy, projects well and leaves a trail; your scent lingers for the first 2 hours. Compliments: Women like clean, well-groomed men, and what’s cleaner than freshly bathed? Gets lots of praise. Occasions: Super versatile, never goes wrong smelling clean; I like wearing it with relaxed attire. Temperature: Suitable for any weather, but don’t overuse sprays in heat due to the initial sweetness and soapy dry-down, which can slightly irritate my throat if over-applied. Updating on 3rd March.

I know most reviews are male, well, here’s the exception in case any women are motivated to buy it. Although all fragrances claiming inspiration say they’re male, and the opening smells too much like the discontinued Estivalia line, clearly only a few minutes on my dry skin with this classic white bar soap scent is a clean smell, but on fabric it dries totally different; I sense a green aroma, I don’t know what it is, it’s like walking in a garden and passing a little plant and its scent comes out. Regarding longevity I’m testing it, hoping it’s long-lasting as I loved the smell. Detail: works better at night than during the day.

  • santiagustinvm

Clean and fresh scent but with poor longevity and projection. It is a sweet scent but not invasive, a fresh sweetness. If it weren’t for some offer, I wouldn’t recommend buying it.

  • I’m not into Arab scents or clones, but this beast has captivated me. I already used Imagination and got rid of it. Looking for something similar, I tried this Aqua Dubai and was surprised by how close it is to LV: the sensations I liked are here. What impacted me most was its persistence and the trail it leaves in the room. It is more potent than Imagination. Its soapy profile is more accentuated and more diffusive. It is true that it comes across as more ‘vast’, less refined, but it has something distinct and addictive. I value the aroma above performance: if the scent doesn’t convince me, I don’t care if it lasts forever. The citrus isn’t as fine as in the original, but at €43 for 100ml, the quality-to-price ratio is 10. Honestly, I don’t miss Imagination with this. I didn’t think I’d say something like that about an Arab ‘clone’.

  • On the opening, it doesn’t resemble Louis Vuitton Imagination at all; they go down different paths. On the dry down, they do share the concept of clean, but here the result is unfortunate: it smells like standard bar soap, very potent and not pleasant. It doesn’t convey elegant freshness or refined cleanliness, but the sensation of having soaped your whole body and not having rinsed it off. It is a flat aroma, without grace, and not recommended.

  • An incredible blend of sweet citrus and cut grass that smells like laundry detergent. I’m not sure if I like it as a men’s perfume, but it is an addictive aroma.

  • santiagustinvm

Update: it doesn’t last at all. I have to spray a fortune to feel it for an hour. I won’t recommend it, nor would I buy it again.

  • A hypnotic scent of laundry detergent. If you’re looking to smell like a clean, freshly showered man, this is perfect. It conveys the image of a tidy, well-groomed gentleman. It is neatness made into fragrance. It gives me that sense of calm and freshness of just coming out of the shower.

  • They criticise it for smelling clean, but it is literally the definition of the perfect perfume for daily wear. It doesn’t project wildly beyond the first few hours; I had my wife wear it and it suits her perfectly. It is great, elegant, and youthful, with personality but introverted without wanting to attract attention. Those who criticise it lack pharmacy and pills. For me, it is essential this summer and a must-have in a collection.

  • I’m writing this review to describe the perfume, not because of its similarity to Imagination as I haven’t smelled it. Scent: I tested a new one and a macerated one. The new one smelled of masterful detergent, lemon, soap, and floral; it’s not bad, just rare, it smells clean. The macerated one lost the citrus part and the soapy and floral notes came through more, which makes sense. Longevity: beast as they say, it lasted 12 hours on my wrist and perhaps more, it projects well for the first hour and then fades a bit. 8/10: clean scent without more and very good performance.

  • The first time I tried it was on my skin and after 30 minutes it smelled of pure soap. I discarded it then. Today I tried using it only on clothes and the scent has me enchanted, super fresh, clean and with a very good trail. It revived as an option to consider for summer.

  • A clean, soapy scent. Who doesn’t like to smell clean? I love it. I own Hawas Kobra, but I prefer this because it is super soapy and smells fantastic. Kobra is more herbal/citrusy. This perfume doesn’t smell like perfume; it is easy to wear, harmless, and long-lasting. I use it all year round, better with heat. It is one of my favourites among my 50 fragrances.

  • Nitai Maldonado

All the haters say the same thing, but this is real: it smells like baby cologne with an alcohol that burns. I tried it once, and that was my experience.

  • On the first spray it smelled strongly of seal soap (powdered soap) but as it dried down the green notes stood out more; it reminds me quite a bit of a tree leaf scent. Personally, if you’re thinking of buying it because it’s a dupe or similar to Imagination, don’t. But if you want a perfume simply to smell fresh after a bath or a daily scent different from your usual, I do recommend it.

  • Many ladies adore it but personally it was a bit complex. I tried to give it a chance but honestly I couldn’t; the scent is not at all to my liking. I didn’t smell any citrus at all, more soapy, something like baby powder, lovely for those who like that DNA.

  • Personally, I think it’s a very versatile perfume, by far the best Imagination dupe, I recommend it 100%.

  • Smells good, reminds me of soap but very lightly. I like it more than the ‘Essence de Blanc’, another Imagination dupe that one smelled like eggs, this one I like quite a bit, only that I see it as unisex rather than men’s. It’s good if you’re looking for something fresh, go for this, it’s cheaper than Full House.

  • Andresguerrero

Honestly, I don’t know Imagination, but this is brilliant. It delivers everything you’d expect from a fresh fragrance, and something rarely found: it’s long-lasting, projects massively, and has a unique scent. To put it simply, the smell is perfect for the beach; it’s fresh, a bit of soap in a good way, but also very citrusy. It’s for intense heat; I feel it’s not the right choice for mild climates or cloudy days; it needs to be a bright sunny day. I don’t think it’s for everyday wear as it can be invasive, in a good way, but it’s perfect for sunny days to ‘stand out’ every now and then. A safe purchase, good price and quality.

  • marcelooo

I got 2 sprays on me a few months ago and it felt like a dishwasher or Quix lemon to us Chileans and I hated it. I tried again yesterday with the same 2 sprays and wow, I fell in love with the fragrance (to be clear, I’m leaning towards cleaner perfumes). It’s exquisite as it brought me vibes similar to my Hawas Kobra but this one is softer, subtler and kinder. It lasted a long time on my skin; I’d smell my arm every 10 minutes just to feel the aroma. It’s a 10 out of 10 if you want to smell clean and neat, I’d say. The age range might be 20 and up as it reflects cleanliness and tidiness. I really liked that it has a pressurised atomiser, which is a plus; with 4 or 5 sprays you’re ready to go anywhere. If I had to choose between this and the Hawas, I’d pick this for its subtlety and because it’s not so flashy. 100% recommended, though you must test how it goes on your skin as some might not like this type of aroma much.

  • I laugh at the divided comments on this Aqua. Almost everyone agrees that its longevity and projection are ABSOLUTELY insane for what it is. As for the scent… that’s another story. Die-hard fans or total detractors; it seems it leaves no one indifferent. It’s certainly not a fragrance ‘as usual’, but personally, it has hooked me. Not at first, but there was something that made me keep coming back to it. Now I’m thinking of getting a refill. I use it for work, keeping the dose in check, though. As for its resemblance to the original, there is one. Not identical, but for those seeking the best performance-to-price ratio, there’s no doubt. It doesn’t generate compliments, isn’t seductive or mysterious. Recommended? Absolutely.

  • Smells clean, like generic soap. Neither sweet nor citrusy, it’s practically just a clean scent. No idea if it’s the same as the LV one, but honestly, it’s not a perfume I’d wear.
