It reminds me of a 90s perfume due to that blend of woody musk and floral notes which were in vogue back then, though I can’t recall if it was late 80s. Unlike others, here the white florals and mint dominate any citrus touch. The musk emerges more in the dry down, but the white florals are always present. It brings to mind Hermès Jardin or Guerlain Aqua Allegoria colognes, but with more potency, which is a great asset. It’s as if Jean-Claude Ellena were playing at creating something oriental. It’s delicate, very well made, and pretty, but I don’t see it as a masculine scent.
Musk Collection by Al Haramain. Right, right, right. First impression: the scent is nothing new. To me, it’s a mix of Egoïste Platinum, Bleu EDT by Chanel, and Cool Water by Davidoff. It’s clean, very musky, giving a shower gel sensation, slightly aquatic, floral, green, fresh, with a ‘blue’ touch and very masculine. A style bridging the 90s and the modern era. It’s as if Egoïste Platinum and Cool Water borrowed a modern blue touch from Bleu. Longevity is moderate, around 6-7 hours, with very soft projection. Ideal for daily wear: gym, office, quick outings, or at home. It’s nostalgic for the 90s with a modern blue twist. A hug and blessings.
Using it several times, this Musk Collection brings me memories of Creed Himalaya.
