Fake suede bomb, cardamom and pepper. The amber note gives me a headache and everything smells artificial. Only a hint of nutmeg is detectable; it’s overloaded with spices. It fades enough in five minutes to stop being annoying, but that reduces its performance: it lasts about 5 hours with no projection. If you’re looking for a cheap leather scent, give it a try; if you want quality in the note, look elsewhere.
I disagree with the previous review: at this price, this Signature is worth every penny. I’m a leather fan and it’s very noticeable here: sharp, dark, with pepper and grapefruit, reminiscent of Issey Miyake Nuit Parfum but with more leather. It eventually sweetens with the amber. The longevity is acceptable, around 6 hours with 2 hours of projection. Ideal for cool nights with a leather jacket.
Bestial for four quid and far more versatile than Tom Ford or expensive Arab fragrances. If you like realistic leathers like No Limits or softer ones like CH Men Privé, this is yours. The quality-to-price ratio is unbeatable: half the price of the new V&R releases. It opens with a strong, realistic leather note, then settles into a cardamom amber, nocturnal and not weird. Fresh, youthful and manly without being macho. Lasts 4-5 hours clinging to the skin. The best cheap leather scent on the market.
I was gifted this, but to be honest, leather isn’t really my thing and this smells exactly like that. It doesn’t last long, it’s barely noticeable in the room, and I’m already running low without knowing how to finish the bottle. I’d only recommend it if you’re absolutely obsessed with the scent of leather.
