I tried this today and was surprised by the scent. The opening is well-balanced, and the pineapple note is incredibly rich. Then the other notes blend together beautifully; in the dry down, pineapple, pepper, rose, and lavender dominate. It felt complex and well-mixed, which is rare for P.E. perfumes! They are gaining traction in America!
Just tried it today and I absolutely loved it. It reminds me of Montblanc Explorer due to the pineapple, but here it is far more subtle and delicate as it dries down. It has a very pleasant sweetness and is undoubtedly unisex.
I’m sorry to differ with your comment, but it has nothing to do with the similarity to Montblanc Explorer. I have both and they don’t resemble each other at all.
Very pleasant and soft, which is why it can be worn every day at the office. The longevity is weak, not lasting more than an hour, but it’s solved by reapplying; it’s worth it. At first, you detect the bergamot, the spicy white pepper, and a sweet scent, with a weak pineapple that isn’t very identifiable, but the sweetness is clear. Definitely fruity. This combination is new and very rich.

I liked the aroma, and much more in the dry down; it’s worth it for me, but you have to apply it with gusto. It doesn’t resemble Explorer; just because it has pineapple doesn’t mean it does. It’s like saying a Beetle looks like a Golf just because it has four wheels.
I liked the scent, especially more so in the dry down. It is worth it, but you need to apply it generously. It does not resemble Explorer; having pineapple does not make it the same, it’s like saying a Beetle resembles a Golf just because it has four wheels.
Yes! It resembles Creed Aventus, Montblanc Explorer, and Zara Vibrant Leather. It’s not a perfect clone, but it’s very similar. I liked it and consider it for daily wear and as a signature. Note: since what is said isn’t always true, I bought a decant to try it (at Decant Store Mexico) and after a week, I already bought the full bottle. Very good perfume from Perry Ellis.
Apart from the similarity to Aventus, it’s a fragrance that’s quite liked. It’s sweet and fresh, versatile, and easy to please, although I don’t see it as unisex; it feels masculine and excellent as a signature scent because of how rich the aroma is. The price is very good and it’s economical. The only regrettable thing is the longevity, as with others from this brand: at most 3-6 hours, so you have to reapply. However, the projection is good. In conclusion, it’s worth what you pay; it’s recommended even blind or as a gift. Projection: 8, Longevity: 7, Versatility: 10, Price: 10. Total: 9.
Forget the similarity to Aventus; this is a sweet and fresh fragrance that is quite liked and very versatile. It reminds me more of Dylan Blue than Creed Aventus! I detect a slight touch of Vibrant Leather. If you have them, give them a try. The aroma of Perry Ellis America is rich and smells good on its own. Although it’s unisex, I find it leans more masculine. Its low projection is justified by the low price. You can overapply it. I bought it in Mexico for $29 and it’s worth it; I wouldn’t buy it for more than $35 due to its low projection, although the scent is good.
It smells more like Dylan Blue than Creed Aventus to me. I detect a slight touch of Vibrant Leather, so if you have it, give it a try. The scent is rich, and although they claim it is unisex, I find it leans more towards masculine. The trail is weak, but it is justified by the low price; I bought it in Mexico for $29, which makes it worth it. I wouldn’t buy it for over $35 due to its poor projection, but the smell is good. Personal opinion.
It could be a clone of Armaf Club de Nuit Intense, but more synthetic. If they swapped the pineapple for mint, it would be fresher. It’s sweet and smoky, but not very fresh. It’s accessible, cheap, and you can reapply it as much as you like. Ideal for the office or gym, not so much for daily wear. I’d buy it again since I already have the smoky one and the sweeter Italianero. It would be worth testing in extreme climates to check performance. I bought it for the rose note, which should give an elegant scent, but I don’t perceive it here; the pepper seems more prominent and could mask it. It’s like the rose in Tommy Loud or Cartier D Soir.
I like it; it’s sweet with fruity notes. It’s not super masculine, but I wouldn’t wear it either; it has that distinct masculine touch. I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t like sweets or for dates and parties; it’s best for casual use. I’ve received compliments, though not as many as with other fragrances.
If you’re looking for something similar to Aventus, forget this one. It’s synthetic, cheap, and lasts the blink of an eye. I’d give it 3/10; a thousand times better to go for an Arabic clone than this.
If you are looking for something similar to Aventus, do not look in America; this is one of the worst fragrances I have tried with that DNA. It is synthetic, cheap, and the scent lasts only a breath. I give it a 3/10 and, to be generous, I believe an Arabic clone is a thousand times better than this.
Bought it today looking for something soft and reliable; no fear of it running out. It’s light, pleasant, and doesn’t give me a headache. I’ll wear it tomorrow and hope it lasts longer; if not, I can reapply it two or three times a day without any issues.
