  A subtle yet energising fragrance that captures the essence of Armani’s iconic ADG, but fresher and lighter. Aqua di Giò Classic acts as a flanker with a youthful, dynamic character, expanding the original’s use for everyday wear, especially in the heat. It opens with a fresh burst of citrus notes like orange, bergamot, and neroli, with a hint of ginger adding a subtle kick. As it evolves, it becomes aromatic with jasmine, rosemary, and a watery touch reminiscent of the sea, reinforcing that freshness. In the dry down, musk, cedar, and patchouli add depth and an earthy note, closing cleanly and lasting well. With 6 to 7 hours of longevity and a moderate trail that projects nicely for almost 2 hours, it’s a great option for a spring/summer scent without spending on the original version.

  Top fragrance. If you’re looking for a decent clone of ADG, this won’t disappoint (though there is obviously a difference in quality). Aqua di Giò Classic is ideal for everyday wear, perfect for spring and summer, although it holds up well in the office during autumn and winter. It’s the only one that has ever earned me compliments. At $15, I always keep a bottle saved. Longevity is around 6 hours, longer on clothes. No strong projection, making it ideal for enclosed spaces.
