Smells delicious, but unfortunately, it doesn’t last on me. Thirty minutes and it’s gone!

  • Smells incredible, a sweet gourmand aroma; you apply it and it smells like flan or waffles – a bakery vanilla that isn’t cloying. I love it. Longevity is about five hours, but given the price, it’s worth reapplying. Lasts days on clothes. It’s a delight

  • At first, it smells strongly of alcohol, nothing more than that with a touch of sweetness; over time, it becomes somewhat vanilla-scented. It’s delicious, but the alcohol note lingers constantly, which is why I prefer the roll-on version, as in this spray version the alcohol smell vanishes in thirty minutes or less

  • A fragrance that initially gives the impression of vanilla and chocolate ice cream, then evolves into very sweet vanilla cotton candy, and finally, when it’s close to the skin, smells like a chocolate cereal (like Chococrispis in Mexico). I loved it, but only for special occasions when I fancy smelling like chocolate

  • It’s POTENT, lasting 10 HOURS on my skin. A massive trail that probably lasted five hours or more as well. People around me say ‘what a lovely caramel scent’, ‘there’s chocolate in there’, and my little niece wants to eat it haha

  • I must say I have a privileged pH, so that sweetness lasts on me for over eight hours. Unfortunately, there’s no trail whatsoever, but I still enjoy its honeyed, chocolatey aroma, which I find warm, with a subtle hint of cinnamon and vanilla; I detect no rose at all, and it’s excellent for layering with perfumes like Bombón by V&R, Black O, and Love by Sofía V. Delicious, they should try it

  • A staple for me and forever!! Soft like a body mist but with character. When I first bought this, I had no idea I’d use it so much; it’s truly well-made chocolate milk. The scent seems subtle, lacks a trail, yet has good longevity for such a soft fragrance, lasting days on clothes. Perfect as a base or for layering. An essential if you like sweet scents – a gourmand with excellent value for money. Suitable for all seasons and times of day. I also own the Choco Musk roll-on, which they say lasts longer, though I use this spray more because I prefer multiple spritzes 😄. Personal rating: 9/10

  • Chocolate cinnamon and musk cookies, hyper edible and utterly brilliant. Lasts about six hours with a projection of three. Given the incredibly low price, you simply can’t miss out if you’re a gourmand lover; this and the Soft are my absolute favourites from Al Rehab. I’ve already bought them twice because I want to keep them forever – I just adore them. No alcohol on the opening and they don’t feel synthetic at all. Go for both!

  • I bought it blindly along with the concentrated oil. At first, I loved it and perceived it as a chocolate with spices, but after a week, it smells like air freshener to me, and I detect a horrible scent.

  • I’ve just finished the 50ml and won’t be buying it again. It’s extremely soft and doesn’t last long, perhaps an hour on the skin with minimal trail. A body mist performs better. Doing the maths, it’s not that cheap: I paid 900 Mexican pesos for 50ml, which is more expensive than branded or Arabic perfumes that last longer. The scent isn’t special either; if you want chocolate, look elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I’ve just finished the 50ml bottle and wouldn’t buy it again. In my experience, it’s a super soft fragrance with very low longevity, perhaps only an hour on my skin with a very personal trail. I have body mists with better performance. Doing the maths, I also don’t think it’s that cheap; the bottle cost me 900 Mexican pesos, making it more expensive than a celebrity perfume and other Arabic perfumes with better performance. The scent isn’t super special either; if you want a chocolate smell, look elsewhere. I don’t recommend it.

  • I bought it on sale for 600 Mexican pesos along with the oil, and it turned out to be too expensive. Here in Mexico, before it went viral, Arabic perfumes cost 240 pesos. Regarding the perfume: it smells of cinnamon cookies, not chocolate; in fact, the cinnamon note always tickles my nose, which doesn’t happen with any other perfume. It has a body mist performance, although it lasts like a day on clothes. The little bottle is ugly, simple, and very cheap-looking, and the cap comes loose. It smells good, but I won’t buy it again. In that case, Chocolate Grady is better value.

It costs around a pound, roughly $10 for 50ml, and it doesn’t smell like chocolate as the Choco Musk promises. Initially it’s vanilla, then it turns into cotton candy. I wear it in winter and it lasts a day on clothes; it’s sweet but has no projection, so it’s best for close wear. I like it very much, it’s ideal for gifting because being basic, it suits everyone.

  • bareynille

I don’t understand why so many people say it doesn’t last; for me, it lasts a long time. It smells of creamy chocolate but is too cloying, even though I love cloying perfumes that give me a toothache. Perhaps I used seven sprays and it became nauseating, but its trail is incredible and it lasted 10 hours. What I feel most is chocolate with lots of sugar and a floral note, which made my head hurt and gave me a slight dizziness due to the intensity. After four hours, when the overpowering scent dissipated, I enjoyed it more.

  • When I first received it, I was a bit disappointed because it smelled of pure alcohol, plastic, and a very faint vanilla scent. I thought it needed macerating. I left it for a week and wore it last night; the intensity is increasing. Now it smells of powdered chocolate with vanilla, slightly like custard. It lasted on my clothes until the next morning; I woke up wondering what was smelling of chocolate. On the skin, it doesn’t have the same intensity and the projection is very intimate. As the results with maceration are good and the scent is rich, I’ll leave it for longer to see how it evolves.

  • In my case, it doesn’t last on my skin at all, and the opening smells very alcoholic. Generally, it smells artificial to me, so I hardly use it because it bothers me. I think with those notes, there are Arabic perfumes on the market today that are much better value.

  • enfermadelgourmand

It’s subtle and intimate, much like the oil version; together they enhance each other slightly, and the scent is noticeable within four centimetres of the wrist. Without the oil, the EDP is a faint, delicate sweetness with almost no distinct food notes. The vanilla and chocolate are imperceptible. It’s worth waiting for its evolution, as with all Arabic perfumes. It’s very ‘runny’, quite watery with a strong alcoholic opening. I use it for layering to add a sweet touch to fragrances like Eclaire. February update: I now perceive more of that vanilla with powdered sugar, like marshmallow or a very airy sponge cake. Although I prefer more eccentric scents, if I have to choose between the oil and the perfume once macerated, I’d definitely go for the perfume, contrary to what people say.

  • Alexdimebag

It’s astonishing how similar it is to Grady by Montale, yet at a fraction of the price. I paid $12 and it lasts quite a while on my skin. I see it as super unisex, so I bought it for my wife, myself, and even my daughter, who doesn’t like smelling of freshly baked chocolate cookies.

  • It’s a bargain at around $10 for 50ml. Despite its name, Choco Musk doesn’t smell of pure chocolate. Initially, it’s a vanilla dessert, then settles into something like cotton candy. I wear it in winter; it lasts all day on clothes. It’s sweet but intimate, with low projection. Very pleasant and I’d recommend it as a gift since its simplicity suits everyone.

  • I picked it up on offer at 600 Mexican pesos with the oil and it turned out to be expensive. Previously, I had Arab perfumes here in Mexico for 240 pesos before they became famous. As for the scent, it smells like cinnamon cookies, not chocolate; in fact, the cinnamon note always tickles my nose, which doesn’t happen with other perfumes. It performs like a body mist, though it lasts a day on clothes. The bottle is ugly, simple and cheap, and the cap comes loose. It smells nice, but I won’t buy it again; Chocolate Greedy performs better.
