  • I don’t know what’s wrong with me regarding chocolate in perfumes, but to me it always smells stale, as if it’s been left unwrapped in the fridge for a year. It upsets my stomach; I used to smell vanilla in it without anything else. Something similar happened with Montale’s Greedy; it just makes me feel sick.

  • enfermadelgourmand

Upon opening, it smells of cloying vanilla. The floral, spicy, and woody notes are absent despite being declared. I’ve been wanting a pure vanilla like Fleibor for ages, but here there’s more: milky chocolate with powdered sugar, delicious at first. Once applied, it smells murky and dirty, somewhat plastic and bitter, preventing it from behaving well. I agree it smells like a car air freshener, but it’s persistent. I layered Eclaire on top and the pepper oil suffocated it. I’m going to check if roll-ons oxidise, because I loved it at first, but on the skin it smells like Raid or a petrol station. I washed my wrists and it won’t go away; it lingers but with a kerosene scent. Update after a week: those unpleasant notes have faded significantly, the vanilla sweetness stands out, but without much trail. It’s a delicious, intimate aroma, perfect for wearing at home to enjoy oneself. Depending on the batch, some notice it, others don’t. I wouldn’t repurchase due to Amazon’s taxes; a 65-dollar tube costs over 30 here and doesn’t last, so it’s not worthwhile.

  • I can’t stop buying and repurchasing it. It was my third purchase from an Arabic perfumerie and I love it for layering or for something relaxed without feeling like a heavy gourmand. Nowadays, within the gourmand category, there are scents that attract me more; after a year, I detect a synthetic touch compared to other fragrances with the same DNA.

  • bareynille

I bought this roll-on twice. The first time it was incredible: it smelled of super rich and sweet chocolate milk, left a good trail, and lasted all day on the skin. The second time, I don’t know if it was a factory error or arrived poorly, it almost didn’t smell like anything. I let it rest for a week and it’s still super subtle, almost imperceptible. I wouldn’t buy it again because I don’t want to receive a product like that again.

  • I bought the oil and the spray and they didn’t smell like anything, a true disappointment even when holding it right up to my nose.

  • It’s not for me. In one word: extremely synthetic chocolate. It doesn’t smell like the synthetic Chocomilk or cereal; it’s much more artificial, not edible chocolate. I had high expectations given the price, expecting something delicious, but it smells very cheap, like a car air freshener or a low-quality candle. I know others like it, but I can’t identify with this. It’s too synthetic, doesn’t evolve, becomes more artificial, and projects nothing. I wanted it for layering but it doesn’t work. If you like something extremely sweet, you might like it, but it will be a sweet you won’t quite know how to describe. I wouldn’t buy it again.

  • Probadoaprobado

A wonderful low-cost gourmand; it was my second Arabic perfume after Soft. I only have the 3ml roll-on and I’m eager to try the spray. I agree it smells of milk chocolate and vanilla; at first it seems synthetic, but upon analysis you know it’s a realistic food or dessert scent. It’s simple (doesn’t evolve) but addictive; to me it smells like marshmallow clouds dipped in milk chocolate or a vanilla colacao. Ideal for autumn and winter, it gives warmth and comfort. I like it alone or layered with vanilla or fruits. For about 5 euros it exceeded my expectations and I super-recommend it.

  • It feels like a chocolate and vanilla cream muffin; I don’t notice the other notes. It’s soft, but if you want to feel like a creamy, edible dessert, it’s perfect for you.

  • It smells like freshly made colacao and is sweeter than the perfume version which has a spicy touch.

  • Flor_rossa

I bought the 3ml roll-on version and it smells sweet, of chocolate and vanilla. It’s true that in my case I didn’t notice much projection or longevity, at most a couple of hours.

  • When I bought it, I didn’t imagine I’d use it so much; it smells of milk chocolate, very well executed. The scent is subtle, without a trail, but it lasts days on clothes due to its softness. Ideal as a base and for layering, a must-have if you like high-quality, affordable sweet gourmands, suitable for all year round and any time of day. There’s also the Choco Musk in spray; they say it doesn’t last as long and smells of alcohol when you first spray it, but I use it a lot because it’s more convenient than the roll-on for multiple applications, while the roll-on is perfect for keeping in your bag. Personal rating: 9/10

  • What a cool perfume, although it smells a bit artificial of chocolate. I genuinely loved it, but it gives me a general discomfort, as if it’s starting to be too much… The times I’ve worn it, I’ve felt unwell, yet I adore it… unfortunately, I’ve used it all up and won’t be able to buy it again. 😔😔😔😔😔😔

  • Kellyperfumlover

I’m obsessed with it; I took the EDP version. On the first day, I only noticed the alcohol and thought I’d wasted my money, I even had to wash myself with it, but you need patience; once it dries, the magic happens, it smells of natural chocolate chip vanilla cookies. I’ve tried it several times and it lasts a long time, about 7 hours, pity it’s a soft scent, it’s very long-lasting and rich, I wish it were more intense.

  • If you have Kahmra by Lattafa, put this as a base and my goodness, powerful trail and exquisite scent. I like wearing it on its own too, but it serves so much for layering, I MUST NEVER BE WITHOUT IT!

  • As for me, it just smells of powdered sugar, zero chocolate. It’s not that I dislike it, but it’s not what I expected.

  • FloorPerfumeadicta

ADDICTIVE! Smells of milk chocolate, vanilla and cocoa, delicious! It reminds me of Montale’s Greedy, but this is more calm and wearable; if you can’t tolerate the other, this is your option. For the price, it’s worth every penny! PER-FU-MA-ZO!! 😍

  • I think it arrived defective or something, because literally it doesn’t smell of anything once the alcohol evaporates.

  • Of all the Al Rehab perfumes, this is the one I’ve liked most, along with Soft. It’s an absolute delight! I bought it in a pack with a spray and oil, and together they are a durability bomb. It smells of bakery chocolate and vanilla, sweet but without cloying me. I love it for daily wear or a little on the wrists to sleep in. It also goes great for layering. A triumphant blind buy!

  • I don’t understand why they say it’s similar to Montale’s Greedy; they’re heading in completely different directions. Montale’s has a very real sweet orange opening, whereas this Choco Musk smells very synthetic, with lots of alcohol. Lately I feel this way, they’ve reformulated something, but Greedy can’t be compared to it even a little bit.

  • Gourmand Bottle

Smells of vanilla and dusty cocoa, sweet but not cloying. It’s very close to Montale’s Greedy Chocolate, that ‘budget’ chocolate everyone loves. For the price, you can’t ask for more: it’s pleasant, wearable, and light, with no pretensions. I bought both the roll-on and the spray and use them together.

  • Oh my goodness, what a lovely scent! I own Greedy and although it might be my perception, Choco Musk smells identical and lasts longer. It’s like hot chocolate in almond milk with a hint of vanilla. Warm, cosy, comforting, perfect for staying in or reading before bed. What quality for this price! If you like chocolate, don’t miss out.

  • LorenaLorelay

Very cosy, perfect for cold weather or to sweeten other fragrances. Smells like ColaCao with a pinch of liquid vanillin added.

  • I have the roll-on and I love it. Super sweet and gourmand without being cloying. It has excellent longevity and good sillage. I use it for layering to add a touch of sweetness to other fragrances.

  • Anfítrite

I have the roll-on in oil. Smells like chocolate cake, milk chocolate, or a madeleine; it’s low-quality chocolate, very gourmand. It’s heavily vanillaised with that dessert vanilla, spicy and sugary touches. All well musky, a warm skin musk. I don’t sense the rose, sandalwood, or myrrh mentioned, perhaps a sweet sandalwood. It’s for 100% gourmand chocolate lovers, but not for me; I prefer darker or more blended notes, without this musk that suffocates me.

  • I just bought it and I liked it, though I wouldn’t have bought it if I’d known before. It’s rich, smells like creamy chocolate, but it’s too cloying, even for me who loves cloying scents. Perhaps it was seven sprays; it was almost nauseating, but the sillage is incredible and it lasted 10 hours. What I sensed most was chocolate with lots of sugar and something floral; the intensity gave me a headache and made me dizzy. After four hours, when it faded, I enjoyed it more.

  • I have the 6ml roll-on. Smells very nice, like milk chocolate and vanilla tablets. I thought the projection and longevity would be soft based on reviews, but it lasted about two hours and only those very close noticed the scent. Still, I love it because it doesn’t smell artificial or like cheap chocolate. Edit: What a wonder! I thought the sillage was low, but the more hours pass, the more potent it feels. I’ve received countless compliments saying it smells like creamy chocolate or vanilla meringue. It’s becoming my favourite; I can smell it for hours even though I showered before bed. I recommend it to anyone who likes gourmand. A little gem at an economical price.

  • SeekerofHugs

I was looking for a perfume with real cocoa notes, not synthetic and not niche, and I’ve found it. Choco Musk starts as milk chocolate (slightly bitter on my skin), but evolves with sandalwood and oriental nuances giving it a special touch, mixed with excellent vanilla that makes it cosy and sweet. The musk is noticeable and balances everything so it’s not cloying. It has good longevity but low sillage, so I use it as a base (the roll-on is very convenient) to apply another perfume on top to boost the cocoa. Give it a chance; it’s wonderful for the price.

  • Smells nice, though not as potent, with a soft sillage. I perceive it as sweet dark chocolate with a hint of milk, musk, and flowers in the base. It lasts about five hours, but for the price and the scent, it’s worth it. I ordered the oil to combine them as they say it’s more potent. Definitely very nice.

  • Despite reading all the reviews, I had no faith it would please me so much, as chocolate aromas in other perfumes, creams, or gels seemed very artificial to me. Until I tried this: I adore it. It was love at first sniff, I couldn’t stop smelling myself. It smells exactly as described: chocolate, creamy, and lactonic, very sweet but nothing heavy or cloying. It’s a treat. I loved it so much I ordered the roll-on to try it; they say it’s even better than the spray, so I can’t even imagine what I’ll love about it.

  • ankhesenamon

Smells amazing, but in my bottle from a month and a half ago, the chocolate scent has completely vanished. It’s just gone now. What a shame.

  • Reina Amigdala

It is the definition of gourmand. It reminds me of the milk with chocolate cereal from my childhood. Vanilla and milk chocolate at their finest. It lasts for ages and is so affordable. I love sleeping with it on; it gives me peace and comfort.

  • Already said it all. Smells incredible, my best blind buy and the best quality for money. 2€ for 3ml of oil. Arrived yesterday and I’m already obsessed. I want to smell like this all the time. I’ve already ordered the 6ml, the EDP, and want every format. Smells like milk chocolate and vanilla, a spectacular gourmand. I can’t say more, it’s all been said. I agree with everyone. Smells natural, nothing artificial like the ones I hate. I love wearing it around the house. I hope the brand doesn’t change and stays this good and cheap.

  • Milk chocolate, vanilla, and in the base, I think essential oils specific to the fragrance. It’s like when your nose picks up the alcohol in some body sprays, but the Al Rehab emulsion smells so much better. Plus, it’s a slightly bitter chocolate due to the musk and powdery notes. The trail is moderate to high. I must highlight that these attars are fantastic for enjoying on your own; you can smell yourself constantly. The longevity is excellent and the quality for money is too, especially in roll-ons (3 or 6 ml, endless). Comparing it, Chocolate Greedy by Montale starts as a very realistic and delicious powdered milk chocolate, sweeter than this Al Rehab one, but its dry-down on me is horrible, almost vomit-inducing. Sorriso is more like chocolate pudding, a bit watery, because here the chocolate gives way to the cosy vanilla. With the orange note appearing, it adds a bitter touch to the refined dessert of Profumum Roma to cut the sweetness. Without a doubt, the Italian one is my favourite of the three. Its performance is impeccable. In summary, Choco Musk smells friendly and informal, though it can be sophisticated in layers; it’s unisex, for cold weather, and perfect for layering to boost the chocolate on the skin. Highly recommend the brand.

  • I bought it recently and at first I thought it was bitter chocolate bar for hot chocolate and didn’t like it. Then I used it for work, it mixed with the vanilla and it wasn’t so bitter anymore; it was sweet and edible is the word that best describes it. People couldn’t stop asking what perfume I was wearing. I’ll tell you, they even took a photo of it and several colleagues asked for it for their collection. My seven-year-old girl uses it for school and the teacher even asked to try it. I recommend it and for the price, it’s incredible what you’re getting.

  • Excellent oil! Niche quality, I just want to share my experience. I’ve tried it and in my case, it works better at night. The first day I wore it to work, I live in a tropical country, and the result was incredible; I got three compliments in less than four hours, pure milk chocolate and vanilla. I RECOMMEND this fragrance for fresh climates or for the evening. Two sprays behind the ears, perfect. If you overdo it with more than two, it becomes a bit cloying and heavy, that’s my experience.

  • Review for the 6ml roll-on oil. It has a delicious aroma. It’s my favourite gourmand of the three I’ve tried from the brand (the other two are Soft and Golden Sand). Nevertheless, among these Arabic oils, I prefer their more floral scents like Nebras or Balkis. Choco Musk is cosy, warm, and sweet, smelling of milk chocolate and vanilla, nothing synthetic. When you first apply it, it’s almost edible, then it dries down sweet but with a musky finish. It sits perfectly as a base for perfumes if you want to boost the chocolate aroma and extend its longevity. In short, it’s a very rich scent, they’ll want to eat it! Aroma 9/10 Longevity 9/10 Sillage 6/10 Value for money 10/10 Versatility 7/10 Packaging 2/10 Would I buy again? Yes.

  • Another little oil from Al Rehab that I’ve loved. Smells like chocolate and vanilla with custard, yum! The other day I put some on my partner and I felt like eating it… The only downside is that it’s too subtle, it stays very close to the skin… perhaps it’s so you get closer to the person wearing it… A delight.

  • I bought the EDP version. It’s a fantastically sweet scent and lasts a long time. The projection doesn’t seem colossal to me; I thought it would be more potent, but I perceive it quite clearly. I think it intensifies with body heat; sometimes it seems to hide a bit to reappear. It would be interesting to try it alongside the oil to see if the sillage increases exponentially until it hits hard. It feels extremely natural, smells intensely of vanilla and cocoa; it turns out to be a must-buy for lovers of sweet and unconventional scents. On clothes, it’s noticeable; better to apply on the neck and pullover or shirt for a good effect. An excellent product; if you look at the price, you won’t believe your eyes, it’s truly a gift. A very pretty fragrance, in my opinion completely recommended; I’m going to spray myself a bit more with this elixir to see if people look at me thinking I’m a caramel or a delicious ice cream cone.
