  • I found this new EDC by Acqua di Parma very weak. It opens with an extreme green and mentholated scent, as if the notes were distilled from a cough drop to clear the airways; it is exaggerated but I was not wrong. That freshness even produces a burning sensation on the skin, just like when we put Vicks VapoRub on our chest (childhood memories…). As it dries down, it becomes discreet and formal, focused on the green with a very subdued citrus and vetiver. The longevity is moderate, around 4-5 hours, but the trail is poor and stays close to the skin. Apart from their classic Colonia, this Italian brand has not produced anything interesting for me, not even the Concentrée line with Oud and Leather. A small disappointment.

  • For me, this new launch feels a bit underwhelming, but I must say I am extremely happy to own the Oud by Acqua di Parma. It suits me wonderfully in the evening, in any season, thanks to its excellent trail and longevity which leave a wonderful aura on the skin. It is expensive, but I do not regret buying this Concentrée at all.

  • Acqua di Parma Colonia Club is a citrus and very aromatic fragrance; it starts very cheerful and fresh with notes of various citrus and mint; up to here, all well, it promises a lot, but in the end it disappointed me a bit, as gradually like a balloon it starts to deflate and at the end only a timid vetiver with musk remains. The duration is also very short, hardly reaching 6 hours. Due to its fresh and light nature, it’s suitable for daytime use, family gatherings, or colleagues’ work meetings; however, due to its high price and low performance, better alternatives can be found in the market. Its style reminded me a bit of Loewe 7 Sport.

  • On my skin, since I apply it, I feel the freshness, literally like ice or coolness. I sweat and the scent returns. When I bathe and use it the night before with steam, it returns…

  • Disappointment. Sometimes I think if it’s true what they tell us about expensive harvests of natural materials, that it requires a huge amount of raw product to get a little absolute… in the case of this perfume, all that for the initial minute… I don’t know, it’s a bit… I really like the ADP citrus DNA, it doesn’t remind me of any specific fruit, it’s like a mix of several. Here is what you feel at the start, along with a touch of orange leaf, some mint, and the pasty/powdery touch of neroli very similar to ADP Essenza that saturates me and ends up not pleasing me. As I say, the citrus mix fades very quickly to give way to a more own and forgivable scent of products with less self-promotion. The typical Calone/dihydromyrcenol mixes etc to give extra freshness, but to me, unfortunately, they don’t remind me of meadows or such things, hehe. Soon, a dry and pasty lavender takes the lead, along with a questionable quality geranium (something it shares with other niches costing many euros that I won’t mention since we’re in days of fine sensitivity). Here, and sharing several notes, it reminds me of a family I’m not a fan of, namely the Loewe Solo family, specifically one of the worst, the Essencial. The dry-down surprisingly amplifies points of freshness of the mint and citrus, along with the powdery neroli and white musks, some vetiver, and some ambergris-derived fixative. It’s the middle phase that I like least; the deep dry-down doesn’t disgust me, on the contrary, just as with Essenza, those powdery tones stick to me for quite a few hours, although here at a slightly lower intensity. The conclusion is that it doesn’t offer me much the truth, one gets tired of similarities with other brands when afterwards they all try to sell exclusivity.

  • Currently compared to Proraso After Shave Cologne, Club Cologne is accompanied by that minty edge. However, Club Cologne has totally different sensations; I remember the Proraso shaving line very well, as a hotel where I stayed provided small kits (very good ones). Club Cologne opens with an explosive mineral mint sensation that projects a bitter geranium-vetiver accord; the citrus is minimal. The whole thing is tonic in the strict sense of the word, it’s linear and delivers its best when the sun loses its power, that is, from afternoon to night. It’s a hyper-masculine fragrance that, used on spring-summer nights, shows refinement and cleanliness. With generous application under these conditions, it gave me 8 hours of performance with high projection for the first two hours, then a long descent with awakenings of green mineral mint touched by ambergris; an amber glow that takes its place in the full dry-down. In sum, if you like the rough, pure mint note without minimalism, Club is an ode.

  • Compared to Proraso After Shave cologne, Colonia Club is accompanied by that mentholated edge, but it has very different sensations. I remember the Proraso shaving line from a hotel where I stayed (very good kits). Colonia Club opens with a mineral menthol explosion that projects an acerbic geranium-vetiver accord; the citrus is minimal. It is tonic in the strict sense, linear and delivers its best when the sun loses power, from late afternoon to night. It is hyper-masculine; in spring-summer nights it shows refinement and neatness. With generous application, it gave me 8 hours of performance, high projection for the first two hours and then a long descent with awakenings of green mineral menthol touched by ambergris, which reminds me of amber highlights in full dry down. Club Cologne has been a great disappointment for me; mostly because I quite liked its opening, but it was an illusion. It opens green and minty, with a background of lavender and timid citrus that last a breath. I like this phase, but from half an hour onwards, everything changes. Nobody mentions Ambroxan, but I notice it quite a bit: the same aggressive and sharp note I smell in Sauvage, only here mixed with mint and lavender. This note, on my skin, eclipses everything. It’s a note with many admirers and detractors, and I’m in the second group because I’ve always found it aggressive and it smells like cheap perfume. From that phase until the end, I notice no evolution at all. It seems totally masculine and suitable for temperate or hot climates. The longevity and projection seem good for the first two hours; afterwards, it stays skin-scented. Conclusion: a pretty fragrance opening that gets ruined by introducing that ever-present note, making it generic and less special. PD: I have Amouage Beach Hut Man, and it’s by no means a clone; they may look similar in the opening, but afterwards they take different paths.

  • Crazyolor

I love this green and elegant scent. It’s the cologne version with green notes that make it slightly more intense. Good trail for the first hour, then skin-scented. Longevity of 5 hours. 7/10.

  • They are colognes, and as colognes, I enjoy them, hey, they’re not EDTs or EDPs. They last 3 to 4 hours, very good hours. At the price I paid, I can’t complain, as I’ve paid much more for some EDTs and EDPs that last 3 to 5 hours.

  • Delicious, fresh, and minty with a certain green tea touch; it smells like old-school colognes and you can tell it’s quality. The downside is the fixative, what a pity; after half an hour it’s skin-scented and vanishes in 30 minutes. The con is the price, which is a bit high for a cologne. Duration 30 min, trail 6, quality 9, scent 8.

  • Delicious, fresh, mentholated with a certain touch of green tea, it smells of old-fashioned colognes and you can feel its quality. The bad part is the fixative, what a pity: after half an hour it smells right up against the skin and in 30 minutes it vanishes. The downside is the price, something high for a cologne. Longevity 30 minutes, Trail 6, Quality 9, Scent 8.

  • Green fragrance with a musky/creamy touch and very slightly powdery, linear from start to finish. The comparison with Proraso was very accurate, in fact this one makes the skin itch due to the mint effect, something I did not like (perhaps in Proraso it is okay because it is aftershave, but not here, which I thought was poor taste). The performance leaves much to be desired: low trail for an hour and then right up against the skin for another 4 or 5 hours, END OF STORY. It can be found for $60 dollars, but I do not think it is worth it. Those who like it, better go for the Proraso aftershave which smells and lasts the same, but costs around $15 dollars, a much better option. In summary, cheap aroma and disappointment. The curious thing is that it lasts longer on clothes and reminded me of the now discontinued Polo Explorer.

  • It’s a green fragrance with a musky, creamy touch, very lightly powdery, and linear from start to finish. The comparison to Proraso is accurate, but this also stings the skin due to the mint effect, which I didn’t like as much as in the Proraso aftershave, which I found unpleasant. The performance is disappointing: the trail lasts an hour, then it becomes skin-scented for another 4 or 5 hours, and that’s it. It’s available from $60, but for what it offers, it’s not worth it; if you like it, go for the Proraso aftershave instead, which smells the same, lasts longer, and costs around $15. In short, it’s a cheap and disappointing scent, although it lasts longer on clothes and reminded me of the late Polo Explorer.

  • I absolutely love it; it’s Polo Green without the pine and that heavy tobacco note, leaving a super minty finish. At first, you feel that cooling effect, then it settles into a green mint scent without distinct layers. It’s a cologne, so it’s skin-scented, but I don’t mind leaving a trail. It’s both classic and modern; I’d even think it was an aftershave. I applied it to my neck after shaving, and it refreshes without stinging. On a hot evening or night, once you’re sweating, it blends best and lasts those 2 or 3 hours; people notice it when they pass close by.

  • Mr Landaulet

I like it dry. The only thing I liked about this ‘unisex’ fragrance (in my criteria, it’s much more masculine than feminine) is its green, mentholated, sharp opening that gives extreme freshness. Unfortunately, that phase doesn’t last long, and then it becomes very simple and discreet. If you add to that that its longevity is limited (at most 5 hours) and its trail is barely noticeable at skin level, I understand that Club Colonia isn’t worth even half its high price (in my city, it sells between 100 and 110 dollars). I would only buy it if I found it at a very reasonable price.

  • The opening is wonderful, one of the richest fresh green fragrances I’ve ever smelled. If you like mint, this is for you; in my opinion, it’s the best mentholated fragrance out there, thanks to the Acqua di Parma DNA. The mint has widely acceptable longevity (approx. 2 hours). When I smell it, I imagine Tony Soprano using it in his daily life; the best fresh Italian fragrance I’ve smelled so far. 9/10.

  • I was looking for a perfume with the most prominent mint note possible, that would last several hours and not smell like a cleaning product, with a classic but not outdated air. Acqua di Parma Colonia Club delivers. The very present mint is accompanied by the brand’s classic DNA. It smells of quality; the mint lasts the whole life of the bottle. What stands out most is mint, bergamot and neroli, with a good presence of lavender and geranium that give it a floral, fresh and soapy touch without going overboard. Longevity is quite good, around 6 hours, projection for the first hour and a half with a strong trail at the beginning that drops to stay contained. Ideal for spring and summer during the day. An elegant but relaxed aroma that covers many occasions. I do not think it is unisex, it leans too much towards the masculine. If you find it at a good price and are looking for something based on mint, it is a good option. Check out my YouTube channel if you want more content: Perfúmate Con JL.

I wanted it to smell like mint, yes, but not like artificial cleaning products. And I wanted a classic air without being outdated. I found all that in Acqua di Parma Club Colonia. • It’s a wearable, all-rounder, and more daytime-appropriate aromatic. Quite linear, where the mint stands out with amber and musk. It’s fresh, adult, and classic. Don’t expect a groundbreaking perfume; it’s not made for that, but for personal enjoyment in warm, sunny months. It denotes classic, masculine, and adult elegance. Don’t buy blindly; test it on your skin first because it’s not for young boys who love sweet or gourmand scents. It’s excellent for a conservative-cut gentleman with an intellectual tendency.

  • I tried it once and thought it was good, especially the first half-hour with that mentholated and fresh smell. Once it dried down, it smelled like cheap cologne with a mentholated hint on the skin, like toothpaste. It’s not that expensive that I’d expect more quality, but for the same price, you might as well go for Guerlain, which has a mint note and is much better in every way.

Club Colonia is one of the most classic aromas you can find, but with a green and mentholated twist. For me, petit grain, neroli, and mint dominate over a classic cologne/barbershop base typical of Acqua di Parma. It feels timeless, mature, and well-portrayed, but it’s not an old-man cologne. Moreover, it gives a very pleasant fresh and clean sensation, perfect for the office, semi-formal or formal situations, and even something more relaxed. It’s a men’s perfume with good performance and very versatile, standing out especially in warm climates. Like other brands, I’ve come to value it more. The scent is perfectly crafted, faithful to its DNA, and adds a green freshness that makes it a great flanker. However, it’s not one of my favourites from the brand because there are other gems that surpass it and its profile isn’t my preference, but I do think it would be one of the first I’d suggest for a quality gift. Note: 7.5/10.

  • I like it; this CLUB cologne is rich (don’t confuse it with C.L.U.B., which says nothing to me). It doesn’t overwhelm the head and isn’t a beast in terms of longevity or projection. It smells of mint (freshness, almost burning at first) and lavender. Very fresh and pleasant, suitable for conservative gentlemen over 30-35. I imagine it’s ideal for a morning breakfast with friends or family. It gives me a sensation very similar to GIT by Creed. Having said that, I believe there are superior similar options, and while this isn’t unforgettable, it still leaves something to be desired for me.

Perfumon is fresh and literally refreshing, with that camphorated effect found in menthol ointments. It’s a party on the skin from the first spray. Ideal for those who want to enjoy their fragrance without being a slob. Fresh, clean, pleasant, and mood-lifting for hot days. It starts with strong, natural mint (yes, I have mint at home, and you can tell the Acqua di Parma quality), accompanied by evident camphor and a soft lavender that doesn’t bother. After 40 minutes, the mint loses potency but lingers at the base; now it smells like a fine barbershop or talc, evoking Italian luxury and class. At 2-3 hours, it’s skin-scent, clean and fresh, neat but not stuffy. At 5-6 hours, it’s soft on the skin with low projection, typical of a high-quality EDC. In summary: a green, mentholated, clean, and classy Eau de Cologne. Imagine walking into an herb shop on a sunny day with fresh air. It boosts morale, calms, and is for personal, intimate enjoyment. Perfect for heat, energised but not rushed. A delight, an olfactory treat, casual use, summer or semi-formal for family meals. Fragrance: 9.5/10. Longevity: 7/10. Projection: 5/10. Price: 6/10.

  • Am I the only one who detects a faint resemblance to Versace Eros? Perhaps it’s that blend of mint and geranium.

  • mauralofish

I don’t know why they pulled it from the market; it’s an absolute gem! If you liked it, grab some backups because it won’t be available again. They replaced it with C.L.U.B., but it’s nothing like it—it doesn’t even come close.

  • NandoHolgado

I bought it because they were discontinuing it and I’ve come across a fragrance that when I put it on in summer, it BURNS my skin. If it were at least a crazy proposal or with carefully selected notes, I could take the heat and so on. But we’re facing an adult dud that projects hard for a bit… between half and an hour, it does so timidly, and then stays skin-deep. It doesn’t even come back up to remind me it’s still there. Nothing, a letdown.

  • Carlos Cardozo

I like that it has a refreshing component on the skin; it really reminds you of old-fashioned colognes. It’s a whole olfactory and sensory experience.

  • Fraganceando_madrid

Total glory for lovers of barbershop colognes. To the house’s classic cologne base they added mint as the protagonist, increased the lavender and geranium. The result is a very aromatic fragrance that plays with fougère touches. Green, fresh, clean, classy, poised and elegant. Classic Italian barbershop aroma. Performance of about 4/5 hours and medium/low sillage/projection, ideal for spring and summer, and rather mature. Sadly discontinued, one of my favourites.

Total glory for lovers of barbershop colognes. They added mint as the protagonist to the classic base, boosting lavender and geranium. The result is very aromatic, playing with fougère touches: green, fresh, clean, classy and elegant. It smells of classic Italian barbershop. It lasts around 4-5 hours with medium/low trail and projection, ideal for spring and summer, more for the mature crowd. Sadly discontinued, one of my favourites.

  • I’ve tried this version and the current one and there’s no contest for me; this one outshines it by a mile. It’s long-lasting and gives a fresh touch with a 90s vibe without being dated; I see it for a bloke in his forties and up.

  • Hocicosensible

I love it! Smells like clean in abundance. With that soapy mint touch that makes it exquisite. It’s total barbershop, tidiness and elegance. I tested it last week at El Corte Inglés (they do have it there), they say it’s discontinued. They gave me a decant and it lasts me six hours; I perceive it every time I move. The first hour projects a lot. Afterwards I’m not sure if others notice it, but I do, and that’s enough for me. It’s exquisite for spring-summer. If you like clean-barbershop scents, it’s a must-have. For that season I was unsure between Citrus Cedro by Adolfo Domínguez, Dior Homme Cologne, Egoiste Platinum and this Aqua di Parma. It must be said that the Italian fragrance is positioning itself very well as long as they keep selling it. A hug.

  • I’m fed up with lavender-based fragrances. This is fresh, but it’s an over-the-top dud with questionable longevity. It’s not worth the cost even in its most erotic adventures. The first half-hour is good: soapy, green, clean, barbershop aroma, elegant and functional. Then it becomes deceptive, disappears and reappears with movements. This game of tug-of-war fades, and by four hours it’s very reduced, with that animalic vetiver that works well, but for a nose already attached.

  • What mint is in here! It smells clean, fresh, classic and above all elegant. The downside is it doesn’t last long and has poor sillage, but I use it just to enjoy it and it’s a delight.

  • I loved it, I bought it as soon as I smelled it. It makes you feel like you are in a forest when it is raining. I use it after getting out of the shower to feel that green and lush nature 💚 I know it is recommended more for men, but it is such a fresh, clean and delicious scent that I might use it too.

This was one of my first purchases and I don’t know why I left it for so long. After diving into the vintage and niche world, some older fragrances seemed out of place until, with a more trained nose, I could identify why and return to them. Colonia Club broke away from the classic citrus style of the original AdP; it’s a homage to those green Italian sportscents like Pino Silvestre, though it’s not a classic fougère (though perhaps it has a touch of coumarin). The concept is simple: a woody, aromatic base with MINT in abundance. It’s so refreshing that the opening stings, just like Tiger Balm or post-shave lotion. I love it. It’s green, aromatic, slightly citrusy and floral with neroli, geranium and lavender. Galbanum is present all the time. As it dries, the vetiver and a salty touch akin to ‘ambergris’ create a pseudo-aquatic, almost marine sensation. I suppose that’s what put me off before, as it seemed ‘mainstream’ or synthetic, but now I see it as a modern, balanced reinterpretation. It compares very favourably to Green Irish Tweed but at a ridiculous price. Ideal for a sunny day with a pressed shirt and blazer.

  • Pablo.GoAl

It gets a 10/10 for that unique freshness. Upon application, especially on the neck, I feel literally the same relief as with a bruise or sprain balm, as if it refreshes the skin instantly. This has never happened with any other fragrance.
