  Perhaps my opinion isn’t entirely objective, as I visited a niche perfumery seeking roses and Matière Première’s Radical Rose stole the show before this one. Its rose is more acidic, sharp, and intrusive, yet far more authentic. It reminds me of Arabic fragrances: a brutally realistic opening that later wraps in a creamy sandalwood mantle with hints of amber. The vetiver occasionally emerges, like a sneak, but its presence is overshadowed by the assertive rose. On my destructive skin, it wasn’t a worthy rival to mention. Moderate projection and average longevity, around three hours. I don’t think it’s worth the price.

  Floral, bold yet delicate scent, supremely feminine. The flowers blend beautifully, with rose taking the lead followed by saffron, though all are noticeable; I adore how the lilac and violet come through. The sandalwood gives it a creamy finish. It lasted a good while on my skin and is already in my favourites. P.S. After wearing it for a while, I noticed an animalic touch after several hours, reminiscent of old leather, which isn’t listed. It might just be my perception, but I don’t like this dry-down; it’s very different from the lovely opening and heart notes.
