I received it today and straight away I quite like it. The opening is sweet, especially it smells of plums. After 5 minutes, the leather and papyrus mixed with the sweet plum are noticeable. The first hour can give the sensation of school pencils, hehe, but afterwards it disappears. It doesn’t project much, but leaves a trail where you pass and from time to time there are bursts of the scent. I like the fragrance, but I wouldn’t pay the store price; it’s very high and I got it at a much more affordable price.

  • Neither do I like it nor do I dislike it. It comes out sweet and fruity due to an intense plum note. The leather assembles with the plum and slowly eats it up. The papyrus gives body to the whole. I note a touch of violet. In the final phase, the usual patchouli-sandalwood duo dominates. It hasn’t fully convinced me. It’s not unpleasant but I find it a bit cloying. It’s true what Oscar says about the pencil smell at the start. You’ll like it if you like sweet leathers. For autumn and winter, for night. Longevity is lasting, trail is moderate.

  • Chambre Noir is a lovely modern fruity leather, sweet but restrained, very wearable and versatile. I’ve tried many fruity leathers; most work well on skin, like Knize’s raspberry from the early 20th century or Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather. This one does it brilliantly with the plum. The pyramid starts with pink pepper that adds warmth and sensuality to the plum, which joins the soft leather, toasted suede-like by the incense. This scent lasts until the dry-down without being heavy. Then the woods and dry papyrus cling to the skin, and the vanilla with the balms put the sweet touch, adding more sensuality. Undoubtedly, it’s made to be enjoyed in a dark, warm room with a view of the city, and for short distances. To my regret, it projects little, but it’s a good blend and a very sexy leather. Rating: 7.5.

  • As mentioned before, it’s a fruity leather, but not because of the plum itself, but rather a general sensation of several fruits. It starts with that fruity vibe, although the plum is more noticeable, with a very low touch of incense and some sandalwood. Upon application, the trail was low and stayed that way for half an hour, then it clung to the skin for another 3 hours before disappearing. It was all linear, period. Although it was generous in application. The scent isn’t avant-garde or innovative, but it’s not a bad fragrance. However, with those low performance levels and the price, there are better leather options. If you’re looking for leather, look elsewhere, but if you’re determined, try it before buying to avoid disappointment. By the way, there’s a sample giveaway for this house on the forum.

I find it an elegant feminine scent, like a black-tie night party in the 50s. I imagine New Year’s Eve, everyone happy and dressed, with a Hollywood actress à la Marilyn Monroe leaving all the men speechless. I love it because it transports you, and with just a whiff, you could write a novel. I don’t quite like that dusty touch, but the plum and incense save it. The violet, jasmine and vanilla combine, and with a push of plum, they give it that natural sweetness (as if smelling a naked flower and its honey reaching the bottom of your olfactory senses). I’ve never liked sandalwood and it’s a pity it’s noticeable, but with everything else, it’s impossible not to like it. The papyrus gives it a magical touch; I’d never heard of that note before and I like it. Scent: 10/10, Trail: 9/10, Longevity: 9/10.

On the third try, I finally understood it better. The heart and dry-down are the soul of this formula: urban, nocturnal and seductive. As Olfactive Studio says, it’s a perfume for two, to be shared in the intimacy of a distant hotel room. It reveals itself little by little between shafts of light thanks to the leather, sandalwood and incense-dusted papyrus, soft and enveloping. The leathery notes blend like a cadence in a bodily spectacle. It sits well on the skin, perhaps even better in a couple as suggested, and it’s perfect for a winter’s night.

  • Paniperfums

I absolutely adore it; it’s incredibly seductive with that sweet, harness-like leather, smoky to the perfect degree and dusty at first. It’s creamy, vibrant and totally unisex, ideal for cooler climates. It has that intimate vibe of a personal cloud with a trail on the same wavelength and lasts forever on clothes. Versatile and with this, I feel divine.

I absolutely love it. It’s incredibly seductive with that sweet, harness leather scent, perfectly smoky, dusty at first then creamy and vibrant. No, I just love it. It’s totally unisex, ideal for cool weather, with an intimate vibe like a personal cloud, leaving a trail on the same wavelength but with incredible longevity on clothes. Versatile; wearing this makes me feel divine.
