Cristina La Veneno had a life of excess and tragedy. She was foul-mouthed, brazen, sexual and controversial, but also charismatic. Ricardo Ramos adores her and this perfume is a faithful homage to her essence: nothing usual, more art than perfume. It smells of vinyl and latex garments, evoking desire and party. The alcohol gives it a spicy touch, and at the end, after many hours, the vanilla and musk soften everything with affection. It’s a peculiar olfactory experience for few, not for gifting but for collecting. If you like latex or are looking for something different, give it a try. Two or three sprays are more than enough. For me, it’s an addictive scent for personal indulgence, not for going out. A wink to the ski trousers of the 90s. Au revoir.
It smells strange, sweet, like latex, sex and a disco. I’ve received many compliments at night. The only downside is that it lasts for ages. In short, I’m happy with the purchase.
I’m not one to blindly believe what perfume houses say or to blindly sympathise with their creators, but this smells like something real. It reminds me of old, dirty leather, with musk and human sweat, plus that alcohol note that gives the sensation of having been in a bar. It has a sweet touch that saves it. The performance is brutal. It’s an experience worth smelling, though I don’t think it would be worth keeping at home given the price.
I tried it and, to be honest, it just hasn’t stuck with me. Perhaps it needs time to mature, but for now, it’s an absolute bomb that floods any room. It comes with a fabric wallet-style pouch and two discs. I bought it for €168 after watching a video by Carlos Rubio where he recommended it, but I’ve now listed it on eBay for €100 to recoup some costs. It’s unisex, but in my case, it’s not my cup of tea.
