  Let’s get along well, dear Bisch: I don’t like it. At first it seemed promising, fresher and spicier than its sister Existence, but as it dries down, the cousin of Zumosol arrives with its resins and incense, and things change. The blend doesn’t work for me. In the end, I barely notice the vanilla, just that initial fresh, spicy mix plus a strange note I can’t quite explain but simply don’t like. It’s rare, original and polarising: not made to please, but to attract attention. It’s worth trying, even though I don’t want it. Still, I like it more than Existence. Don’t make my mistake. Unisex, versatile, but it craves warmth. Scent: 4.5, Longevity: 9, Sillage: 9, Price: €365.

  One of the biggest disasters I’ve tried. Dear Quentin, this is very recycled and already boring. Decision is a lighter, duller version of B683, with a base of cheap synthetic vanilla and a very tacky, sugary sweetness. Far from being niche or a refined oriental, these attempts to westernise the brand are backfiring. It starts with accented cardamom and a citrus touch that I actually liked, but within minutes it shifts to that sticky sweetness with myrrh that doesn’t blend, as if the perfumer felt obliged to use resins by tradition. In my opinion, abysmal. I’ll stick with Outlands by Cecile Zarokian. Please invent something new.

  It really hooks you, unlike others. It opens with incense and evolves beautifully into balanced cardamom and woods. Performance is more than adequate. Worth the price, just like the rest of the line. Rating: 8/10 👌
