  Dream Sea is exquisite and refined: vanilla with salt, extra creaminess from the sandalwood, an aquatic touch without being aquatic, and a fresh, spicy point. It has cottony green notes, like Sole Patchouli. It’s vanilla-salt with unique nuances that put you in a good mood and make you smile. I see it for spring/summer. Decent projection for the first hour and a half, then it drops quickly; the longevity is poor, with an official sample unlikely to pass five or six hours. I don’t understand the low rating on Fragrantica: it’s not a beast mode and doesn’t have real performance, and the price of £145 for 50ml is excellent. It’s a pity that review bombing is needed for a good product to be seen.

  Dream Sea is a jewel: vanilla with salt and super creamy sandalwood, an aquatic touch without being aquatic, and a fresh, spicy point with green notes like cottony Sole Patchouli. It’s vanilla-salt with the right nuances to be unique, giving warmth, changing the mood, and putting a smile on your face. Ideal for spring/summer. Decent projection for the first hour and a half, then it drops quickly; the longevity is the flaw, with an official sample unlikely to pass five to six hours. The bad thing is that Fragrantica has been subjected to review bombing with unrealistic notes and performance; Dream Sea doesn’t approach a beast mode, and the price of £145 for 50ml is excellent, I’ve never seen anything like it. What a pity that a good product has to endure that. Scent: 8.3, Projection: 7.5, Longevity: 6.2, Originality: 7.8, Price: £145 (50ml), Recommended: High.

  Interesting, but it’s nothing for me. At first, it smells super fresh, almost like Vicks VapoRub. As it dries, the salty note dominates with vanilla and ambergris, mixing with flowers. The quality doesn’t fail, but it has never quite suited me.

  I love it; it smells like paradise with salty vanilla, greens, and florals; it’s like being on an island 🏝️. Lorenzo Pazzaglia usually fails on longevity, but this is a bomb: with just three sprays, it lasts more than eight hours and projects a lot. They are 40% concentration extracts, so if it lasts little for others, their decants are probably old.

  I love this fragrance; it smells like paradise with salty vanilla and green and floral notes, like being on an island 🏝️. So far, none of Lorenzo Pazzaglia’s have had such good longevity and projection; with just three sprays, it lasts all day and projects a lot. Every experience is unique, but what stands out about this house is that their perfumes are exquisite and true bombs, having a 40% concentration in these extracts. Those who say it lasts 4-6 hours probably have decants in bad condition, because for me, it easily lasts eight hours.

  Olfactorily it’s a 10, but the performance disappointed me a bit. I give the maximum note because, although it lasts little on my skin, it smells so good I can’t stop sniffing myself. It’s a fresh and salty vanilla, super sunny and bright, in the style of Ça Boum by Teo Cabanel. The ambergris gives it a unique animal and balsamic touch. It lasts about five hours with little projection, ideal for enjoying it close up or for summer walks. I wouldn’t buy it as I have similar things, but I recommend trying it if you’re looking for a different summer vanilla or a marine fragrance without an algal smell.

  It caught my nose like all of theirs, but the battery has let me down a bit. Still, I give it 10 because, although it fades quickly on skin, it smells so good I can’t stop sniffing myself. Simple and great scent: fresh and salty vanilla, perfect for summer, sunny and bright, in the style of Ça Boum by Teo Cabanel. The ambergris gives it an animal and balsamic touch that makes it unique. On my skin, it lasts about five hours with little projection, so it’s for enjoying on yourself and at close range. Ideal for a relaxing afternoon stroll. I wouldn’t buy it as I have similar things, but I recommend trying it if you’re looking for a different summer vanilla or a marine scent without those typical ozonic and algae notes.

  According to Pazzaglia, this is her favourite creation, but for me it’s quite the opposite. I bought it blindly and wear it rarely; it aligns with those who say it clashes and smells like Vips Vaporups. It has something mentholated, almost balsamic, reminiscent of Reflex or muscle liniments. It smells salty, like menthol with salt. Perhaps those unspecified green notes or a synthetic ambergris are the key. They say it carries Ylang Ylang, but I can’t detect it even with a bloodhound, as that menthol drowns everything out. It smells like a pharmacy, like medicine, like a cheap physiotherapy cabinet. Its sister, Van Sea, smells of a wild ocean, but here something ruins it all. The only good thing is its atomic performance; on my skin it’s like a megamare, but it’s simply not my cup of tea.

It smells like a pharmacy or a cheap physiotherapy cabinet. Its sister, Van Sea, smells of wild sea, but here something ruins it. The good thing is that the performance is atomic; on my skin, it lasts like a megamarathon, but it’s not my cup of tea.

  Not one of my favourites, but it blends beautifully once it settles. The opening is a bit overwhelming, with that aquatic touch – more fresh, spicy and salty. That mix, reminiscent of chewy mint, carries a synthetic sweetness, like medicine, as others have noted. The green notes, pepper and ambergris make the opening feel strange. The heart arrives at the hour: salty, creamy and talcum-powdered, yet clean, like sun-dried linen. The sandalwood adds significant creaminess, somewhat woody and burnt. I get the impression it contains a tiny, undeclared dose of elemi. In the end, there’s that salty, creamy sandalwood base with sweet hints. Longevity on clothes is extreme – it clings and is delightful; on skin, it doesn’t quite reach nine hours. Always with heavy projection but not suffocating; you’ll smell each other, but you won’t overwhelm anyone. Personally, I’m sorry, but you don’t have me here, Lorenzo. You’ve tried to create a sun-drenched linen shirt scent by the sea, with a marine salt aroma, but it’s come out… unbalanced: sweet, creamy, burnt, salty, yet also… If this is your vision of a dream sea, you’re on the right track, but something’s missing. In short: try it, compare it, and if you find something better, buy that, because if you buy it blindly, you might regret it.

The heart arrives at the hour: salty, creamy, with a touch of clean talcum powder, like freshly washed linen in the sun. The sandalwood adds a lot of creaminess, some wood, and a hint of burn. It feels like there’s a tiny, undeclared dose of benzoin in there. In the end, you’re left with that salty, creamy sandalwood base with some sweet touches. The longevity on clothes is extreme because it clings so much; on skin, it doesn’t quite reach nine hours. Always with a strong projection but without suffocating; people will smell you and you’ll smell them, but you won’t choke anyone. In my personal opinion: I’m sorry, you don’t have me, Lorenzo. You’ve tried to create a linen t-shirt scent for a sunny beach with that salty aroma, but it’s come out unbalanced: sweet, creamy, burnt, salty, but also… If this is your idea of a dream sea, you’re on the right track, but something’s missing. In summary: Try it, compare it, and if you find something better, buy it, because if you buy it blindly, you might regret it.
