Oh, what a lovely evolution into mimosa ☝️ At first, straight out of the bottle, it smells quite feminine and that phase lasts a while. I’ve been wearing it now and it took an hour to settle; afterwards, it’s such a fresh scent I can’t stop smelling my arm. Yes, it’s almost linear, but it’s very well made. Like most perfumes from this house, they are incredibly evocative, for better or worse. And speaking of evocation, from this house, Relique d’Amour takes the crown (and in terms of perfume beauty, correct me if I’m wrong). A jewel.

Villa Lympia: It starts with a smell of sunscreen and sand that lingers in the air. Then the mimosa comes in and everything mixes. Finally, the sunscreen blends with a soft, floral mimosa, with a hint of sand in the background. It doesn’t last long, about 1-2 hours on the skin, but it’s noticeable for up to 6 hours. It’s a delicious fragrance that smells of a beach with a flowered garden nearby. The sunscreen and mimosa dominate, without needing coconut or vanilla, something typical in this type of scent. It’s made for spring and summer, as it shows more with the heat. In summary, it’s a delight that avoids sweet and fruity notes to be a summery scent with substance, even if it doesn’t project much.

What a different perception… to me it sounds mostly of marine notes. It feels super fresh, almost unisex. Smells of beach and salt, but without sun protection. Like when we used to go to the beach to get covered in salt and turn like prawns before the awareness of the sun’s damage spread.

What a different effect… to me it smells of marine notes. Super fresh, almost unisex. Beach and salt, but without sunscreen. Like when we used to go to the beach to get covered in salt and turn like prawns before anyone took notice of the damage from the rays.
