It is a perfume with luxury materials, very indie, but it didn’t grab me; the composition feels uninspired. The champaca is rich, but the quality notes are crowded: it smells of champaca with dirty oud and animal musks that give it a sticky, chicloso touch that doesn’t sit well. Over time, the oud relaxes and improves; the trail is pleasant thanks to the champaca and the creamy touch of ylang-ylang and frangipani. For this price, simply mixing three premium ingredients that don’t fight and selling them isn’t enough. From the 4/5 hours until its eternal life, only a trace of woody, animalic oud remains. Scent: 5, Projection: 6.4, Longevity: 9.3, Originality: 7.8, Price: $229, Recommended: No.

Fiona is not a perfume; it is a melancholic memory that whispers after the chaos. James Barry, a YouTuber who spent his construction wages on fragrances until ruin, founded TSVGA Parfums to touch raw materials and stop obsessing. Although he admitted he didn’t know how to review and lacked experience, Fiona (2021) surprised everyone: top quality inspired by Bortnikoff with real musks and florals. It is my favourite floral animal, soft and masterful, nothing like the aggressive pyramid suggests. It was his only solid success with adjusted batches and a special edition with a painting for thousands. Tragically, the brand and James’s life were extinguished by debt; he is now a spiritual therapist. A masterpiece born of disorder that burned out quickly. Good luck on your journey.
Fiona is not a perfume; it is a melancholic memory that whispers after the chaos. James Barry, a YouTuber who squandered his construction wages on fragrances until he went broke, founded TSVGA Parfums believing an obsession with raw materials would save him. His reviews were poor and he admitted he didn’t know what he was doing, but Fiona, launched in 2021, was his only solid success. It used real musks like ambergris and civet blended with flowers and ouds, inspired by Bortnikoff. The quality was top-notch; it felt like something from Areej or Ensar Oud, not an indie. It was called my favourite floral animal, yet it isn’t aggressive; it is soft and masterful. They sold five batches with natural adjustments, and even a special edition with a painting for thousands. The brand died of debt; James sold his 30k collection and is now a therapist. It’s all over, leaving only the memory of a masterpiece amidst the whirlwind.
