  Don’t look for a Kosher seal on the box… Russian Musk II opens with a clean genuine musk nothing animal where an intense and dominant pine blends with a green note. In the opening neroli and citrus welcome you. It’s very green aromatic timeless and super easy to wear. Unisex-masculine. It has a slightly powdery texture from the musk. It’s one of those perfumes that gives you positive energy. It doesn’t smell like something from another decade nor is it cheesy; it’s timeless with a quality that makes a difference compared to aromatic scents of this type like Creed’s. 👃🏼 If you let your father or grandfather try it you’ll surely see them wanting it they’ll love it although there’s the catch for the liver: explain to them that it’s no longer being manufactured and that those 50ml have a mark-up among collectors and it will seem outrageous. Everything smells very refined and natural. As expected from natural ingredients the projection is modest and longevity is my weak point. I get 4 hours maybe up to 5 but I already have to bury my nose in my skin to catch a trail. To be a good perfume you don’t need to exceed 6-8 hours but staying at 4 does leave me wanting and at $375 (a high price due to being discontinued) it makes me wince. If it had cost $220 perhaps I would have looked for a refill bottle. Honestly it doesn’t smell like anything I haven’t smelled before in some way with other brands although with better quality. This version has 10% more neroli than the original launch from years ago and the oud was distilled in Zamzam water a sacred well for Muslims according to their beliefs. Very good classic chypre 🌟
