Its opening with juniper, green notes, basil and violet gives a sensation of marine salinity wrapped in soft wood, complemented by ginger and coriander. It fits perfectly into the aquatic family with that sea breeze; you imagine yourself on board a sailboat feeling the sun and the sea. It’s very pleasant, with moderate longevity and sillage (6-7 hours). It can be an option for the office due to its cleanliness and low intrusiveness, or for an informal weekend walk. I don’t see it for sophisticated occasions or at night. Ideal for summer, spring or sunny autumn. It suits a wide range of ages, from twenties to over 40s.

  • I bought it recently. It’s the typical summer fresh scent for daily use. It reminds me of the wet wooden bridges or platforms of maritime ports; to me, it smells like ‘sea’. The only problem is the longevity: on my skin it lasts between 2 and 4 hours.

  • Many ‘aquatic’ fragrances actually smell fruity, ozonic or herbal; they give a sense of freshness, like Cool Water, which if it were called ‘Cool Forest’ no one would say it’s wrong. But this particular fragrance… I’ve never smelled a scent so similar to sea air, the air still over a wooden pier. I would call it ‘Sea Breeze’. It’s an excellent blend; if it had come from a less controversial brand than T.H., it would be a masterpiece. PS: Who classifies fragrances? If this isn’t ‘Aquatic Woody’, what is? PS2: For me and Prieth, it lasts more than six hours. Projection of half to a metre, with good compliments.

  • It was a blind purchase and it disappointed me greatly. I imagined it as more aquatic and fresh, but it follows the typical Tommy line: it smells like freshly ironed clothes, this one especially with a salty, almost metallic touch. Honestly, the ironed smell made me nauseous, although my nose tolerates that type of scent. If you don’t like that salty or metallic note, I wouldn’t recommend it. At times it gives the impression of being at sea, but the salt is so strong that afterwards it smells of metal and saturates the senses. The longevity is good to moderate, around 6 hours, then it’s only detectable close to the skin. It’s not pleasant for me, although everyone has their own tastes. I sold it a week after buying it.

  • I bought it blindly and was hugely disappointed. I imagined it to be more aquatic and fresh, yet it follows the same line as other Tommy perfumes that smell like freshly ironed clothes. This one in particular smells exactly like that, with a salty, almost metallic note that frankly made me nauseous. If you can’t stand the freshly ironed laundry scent or that salty note reminiscent of metal, I wouldn’t recommend it. At times it gave the impression of being inside the sea breathing in the sea breeze, but that salty note was so strong that after a while I perceived it as metal and my nose became saturated. Its trail and longevity are from good to moderate; it lasted me almost six hours before fading to skin scent only, but in my opinion it’s not pleasant, although everyone has their preferences. I ended up selling it a week after buying it.

  • The concept is clear: freshness, daytime, sun, walks, energising green and breeze. It has interesting green notes with citrus touches that, over time, yield to salt, giving a sea breeze tone. The woods are very soft, closing with a dry finish. It fulfils its function: it’s clean, fresh and generates well-being, although it’s soft and only for daytime.

  • I loved it: fresh and elegant. It doesn’t smell like soap, but very pleasant. It’s one of my favourites, although it seems they’ve discontinued it as I can’t find any bottles anymore.

  • What a pity it’s no longer available, and the few bottles that circulate cost a fortune. For me, it’s one of the best scents I’ve tried; it’s not for ultra-formal events, but its versatility makes it ideal for any other occasion.

  • What a shame it’s no longer available; the few bottles still circulating cost a fortune. It is undoubtedly one of my favourite scents, versatile for everything except ultra-formal events.
