Descripción

Game of Spades Bonus by Jo Milano Paris is an aromatic citrus fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2025, this creation features a vibrant and contemporary olfactive structure. The top notes unfold a fresh explosion with coriander, blackcurrant, mint, apple, orange, and lemon (sour lime). The heart of the composition reveals floral and herbaceous elegance thanks to May rose, carrot seeds, basil, and blackcurrant. Finally, the base notes land with a warm, woody sweetness, composed of ambrette musk, fig, and dates.

  • To be honest, it’s very good; I’ve worn it for two days. It doesn’t smell as much like a mojito as people say, but rather like orange peel. It’s not synthetic; it smells rich. As it dries down, I notice a touch of sweet, creamy peach for a few minutes, but the dry-down is excellent. It feels slightly sweet, fresh, and not at all intrusive, ideal for everyday wear. I give it 9.5/10; it’s one of the best citrus scents I’ve ever smelled.

  • I didn’t like it. In the opening it smells of lemon, then citrus peel and fruity. The performance is terrible: I enjoyed it for only 30 minutes.

  • I bought it in a 10ml set. It’s a nice scent; rather than distinct notes, it reminds me of those sweet, chewy, very sour lemon sweets, which are present here. It’s not the typical generic citrus. As it dries down, it balances and reveals that typical soft musk, keeping that special citrus touch. It’s not my favourite, but I recognise there is quality. Try it first in decants. EDIT: The idea that everyone smells the same is madness; there are real differences.

I tried it in a decant and then bought the bottle. I liked it a lot; people at work always ask what I’m wearing. It’s fresh and tropical, a good dupe for LV’s Pacific Chill. Regarding longevity: since it’s fresh and tropical, don’t expect 8 hours; the original doesn’t last more than 4. It’s in the top 5 fragrances from GOS.

  • It’s good but doesn’t win me over. It smells of mint and lemon, like a mojito without alcohol, just as the influencers claim. The longevity is short; there’s no ‘bomb’ effect sold on TikTok.

I wasn’t a fan of ADN Pacific Chill until I tried this; it convinced me. Unlike other clones that overload the peach or citrus notes, Bonus balances everything perfectly. The oil smells high-quality, superior to brands like Jean Lowe. It opens with citrus, coriander, and mint without being overwhelming, then moves to herbal notes with basil and a dense, creamy rose that blends brilliantly with the green elements. The fig and ambrette base is soft and elegant, avoiding that excessive ambrette that sometimes grates in Arab perfumes. I was fascinated: it lasts 6-7 hours with decent projection, even on my tricky skin. Game of Spades has produced gems like this; it’s worth every penny.
