Bergamot stands out at the top, ambroxan and violet leaves in the middle, and incense resin at the end. Cedar and oakmoss just accompany. I didn’t detect the leather note; it even seemed a bit like ginger, though it might just be my impression. Excellent for intermediate seasons; it feels fresh and can be worn in heat if not applied heavily. Based on the notes, I’d think it’s more mature, but it’s very flexible, suitable from 20s to 60s. Longevity and projection are typical for a mid-to-low price point: about six hours of wear and two or three hours of trail. It doesn’t flood the room, but people will definitely notice you. I’ll update once I’ve used it daily after buying it. I can’t find a similar scent in my collection of ninety perfumes. As a blind buy, it’s worth it if you like ambroxan and resins. I don’t see it as unforgettable, but it is versatile for almost the whole year.
This stuff smells like nothing; I was actually scared when I sprayed it, thinking I had COVID. Then I realised it wasn’t that—the concentration is just very low. Plus, the packaging is cheap: that 1981 label is on bond paper with school glue, haha. It’s eau de cologne, not EDT. The fragrance itself is average, nothing special; I think it works better as a splash after a shower. Guess perfumes are very low quality, but the price is accessible. You can wrap yourself up in what you can afford, but don’t spend money on this; spend an extra ten dollars and buy something better. As for Guess, I can’t recommend any of them… they’re all pretty much the same.
I was doubtful at first, but it’s a winner. It has sweetness, incense, and leather—a mix I love that doesn’t smell like typical perfume, so you won’t smell like everyone else. It’s masculine and performs well at close range. It doesn’t leave a huge trail or feel invasive, but the longevity is decent. 100ml costs 25–30 euros. I’d rate it 7.5 out of 10.
It smells good and noticeable at first, but becomes softer over time. It’s a pleasant scent that feels close to the skin; definitely a good fragrance.
Fresh scent with a hint of leather. It’s a bit synthetic at first, but it softens quickly. Works well in any weather, though it doesn’t last long—just a few hours with a short trail. Still, I’d recommend it.
