It’s impossible not to notice the tobacco note. Worth every penny, unlike CK Free which feels like a complete rip-off compared to this.

Woody and fresh, the classic blue scent but with a sweet, distinctive twist as it dries down. Flawless performance, great sillage and longevity. Versatile and perfect for daily wear, ideal for Esika’s heat without breaking the bank. If you want compliments, this is the winning choice.

I bought this ten years ago when William Levy was promoting it. At first, I hated it for being overly sweet, like vanilla, and gave it away. Now, a decade later, it smells much better: less sweet, with notes of apple, suede, and herbs. At $14, it beats Zara and doesn’t smell like AVON. Lasts 12 hours on skin, a masculine aroma with soft leather. The Magnat line is top tier, but Select and Elite smell like designer fragrances. 🔥

Pleasant, sweet, with leather and a hint of liquor. However, the performance is poor: half an hour of projection and then it’s just skin scent. I liked it, but wouldn’t buy it again. Good for testing if you like leather before investing in something better. Lasted about three hours on me.

This Magnat is very woody and aromatic, and more long-lasting than the others from Esika. With this, it never disappoints.

Pleasant surprise. For the price, it’s the best. Buy any Magnat by Esika; they are rich fragrances. Though I’d save a bit more to grab an Arabic scent instead.

I sold my Carolina Herrera 212 VIP Black to keep this Magnat. They are very similar. To me, the 212 was too loud and became a nuisance. This one feels synthetic, but not badly. For the price, it’s a great buy. You get apple, whiskey, and leather. It’s enchanting and versatile, suitable for summer with moderation. The trail and longevity last 4 to 6 hours, then it sits close to the skin. I picked it up with Select for 600 pesos.

I bought it on offer and gifted it to my husband. Every time he wears it, I bite my lip and can’t stop smelling it. People say it doesn’t last, but on him it projects well and he gets compliments on the street.

I see people crying because it doesn’t last and not buying it. What did they expect from five-dollar perfumes? If they are so demanding, buy Tom Ford for four hundred dollars. Here they want to smell all day at a low price yet still demand more. It’s a very good fragrance.

I bought the Magnat and the Select blind and they didn’t disappoint: excellent value for money. The Magnat opens with a delicious, fresh apple note before turning more woody with a hint of liquor; perfect for everyday wear or the office. It lasts about five hours on skin. The Select is my favourite: it smells more oriental, with dark woods, spices, and a touch of amber. It’s ideal for going out at night in cool weather, dates, or parties; it looks more serious and seductive with a shirt or suit. I recommend both for the price (around $17.50 in Mexico): the Magnat for office/school and the Select for special occasions.

It’s an average perfume. There’s a moment where it smells odd, perhaps due to the whisky note. It’s not bad, but it’s only suitable for a quick trip to the shops or errands. It doesn’t last long and projects nothing.

It’s very good, I think one of the best from Esika. It starts with whisky and a slightly synthetic green apple, but it’s a fine fragrance. The whisky is the most prominent note, with a sweet touch from the amber. It’s a hidden gem.

In 2017 my mother gave me samples of L’Bel, including two of the Magnat, and I liked them. It smells sweet and oriental; I love its woody, leather, and liquor accords. I’d give it 8.5 out of 10. The one I truly adore is the Magnat Select; it’s one of the best I’ve owned. I hope they add it to the platform soon.

This fragrance is delicious. People say it’s one of the worst, but in my opinion it’s superb; everyone loves a sweet, boozy scent. I own more than 50 designer and niche perfumes and this surpasses many of them. It smells of very light leather and boozy notes, not strong or unpleasant like the Tuscan Leather, which I find too overpowering. Yes, the longevity and sillage are poor, but the aroma is excellent and I’ve received more compliments than with pricier perfumes like Bleu, CH Men Prive (they don’t resemble each other), 212 VIP Black (this smells more synthetic than the Magnat), Jubilation XXV, etc. Give it a try for $10. The one that resembles it is Invitus Intense, like a fusion of Magnat and Select.

If there’s nothing good to say, I won’t say it, and sadly that is the case. It bears no resemblance to the CH Men Prive, and I believe there are better options in the Esika catalogue, such as the Kromo Black, which is good, attractive, cheap, and has decent longevity.

Magnat summary: the perfume that offers the most quality for its price. There are three versions: Magnat Classic, which smells rich, gives personality, authority, and formality (it has an air of JPG Le Male); Magnat Select, with a darker, more mysterious and sexy aroma, which is exquisite; and Magnat Imperium, versatile and bolder than the classic, ideal for summer during the day. Similar rating to @Jerry7474: Aroma 8.0, moderate to weak projection (1.5 hours then skin scent) and maximum five hours longevity. No fear of spraying according to my experience. *A like if you enjoyed the review*.

I bought it on recommendation and was surprised by the quality-to-price ratio. I’ve used it at events and received compliments. It smells very well, although I don’t wear it all the time due to the heat in my city. The downside is that it doesn’t last more than five hours on skin and I’ve had to reapply, but it’s excellent for going out and for leaving a masculine scent.

Very good fragrance, versatile for office and casual or formal wear. It resembles the CH Men very closely, about 90%. It’s a bit sweet, smells of light leather, and has rich green apple notes. It has given me many compliments at work; definitely recommended, although not for warm weather as it’s not fresh.

What a pity the new formula has dropped in quality; previously, with William Levy, it promised 8 hours of longevity and great projection, but now it’s very soft and sweet, not suitable for hot weather. Ideal after 5 pm with an elegant yet casual outfit.

The best in terms of scent and price, incredibly cheap for what it contains. A woody blend with leather and bergamot that creates something exquisite, almost edible. Out of my 20 designer scents, this has earned more compliments than my beloved Givenchy Gentleman. The downside is that on skin it lasts about 4 hours and projects less than 2, but on clothes it lasts until the next day. Very generous for its price.

Not much to add to otherudacamas’s comment… I bought them blind and only used them on the day they arrived. I don’t plan to use them again; they really smell of something extremely ordinary. If you’re looking for catalogue scents, go to Natura; it has gone excellently for me, but I won’t buy any more catalogue brand items.

Hello fragrance lovers, in my humble opinion I own all three Magnat scents, and the truth is I haven’t gone wrong with any; in fact, they last longer than some designer ones. For what I paid, it was worth it. The world of perfumery is very diverse and tastes are extremely different. Even the best perfume in the world has divided opinions, so buy what you like and that’s that. Best regards.

Simply disappointing. I don’t understand how someone can recommend it and compare it to CH Men Privé or 212 VIP Black. I bought it blind after those recommendations, but there’s nothing like it. Its performance is abysmal and its scent is 3/10, hovering around unisex-feminine.

Agree with Juanpablo3321. Is it worth it? No, and I’m starting to think there are hidden Ésika sellers writing reviews. I bought MAGNAT and MAGNAT SELECT and it was a disappointment: synthetic perfumes with a cheap, almost nauseating smell. What kind of poor imitation of CH Men Privé is that? How can they buy that delicious bergamot note with this mess of green apple? It gives me the chills to hear they say MAGNAT SELECT is sophisticated or resembles the incredible Bvlgari Man in Black. False on performance: they project nothing and fade to skin level very quickly. MAGNAT SELECT lasts a bit longer, the classic is a sigh. Compliments, perhaps only from a loved one out of pity. Anyone who has smelled decent perfumes will immediately sense the low quality. Don’t waste money on this; for the same price you can get something good like Ferragamo or Mercedes. Colombians can also turn to Jean Pascal or Arturo Calle. Avoid this mess and support the good stuff.

It has a great resemblance to Carolina Herrera’s 212 VIP BLACK. Excellent quality for the economical price. Sexy scent, a 10/10 signature fragrance, versatile for any occasion. This catalogue perfume is brilliant; I recommend it highly. Best regards.
