Smells delicious and feels like a treat in the heat. The opening is herbaceous with a bitter touch, but as it dries down, a sweetness emerges that makes it very versatile. It has a powdery air; it’s a classic from Ésika/Lbel. Very well balanced and my favourite from the brand, but the longevity and projection are very poor. It would be a 10/10 if not for that, considering it costs less than $15.

Simple, sporty, just as its name suggests. Smells like a cologne, nothing more, but rich. Ideal for days between 25 and 30 degrees.

I feel very clean, fresh and sporty. Perfect for any occasion. I used to love the scent of Kalos when I had the 10ml decant; now I use it as deodorant and talcum powder, but this is better. I’ve had it for a long time.

It delivers if you’re looking for something simple and clean, but it falls short on impact, originality and performance. A good option for those who don’t want to spend, but not for anyone expecting a perfume with presence or evolution. It resembles Chanel Platinum Egoiste but lacks the refinement and unquestionable quality of the French brand.

Catalogue perfume. It came as a gift with a pack of deodorants. Smells clean, nothing more. Longevity and sillage are limited; it’s for heading to the gym.

Test of two sprays on the arm: Pleasant, versatile, adequate and fresh. Lasts a short time (3-4 hours), but if you like soft fragrances that don’t bother others, this is the typical male scent for the heat, suitable for both young and older gentlemen. If you catch it on offer, it doesn’t hurt to reapply. Price in Chile: $10-12 for 100ml on offer.

Kalos Sport is a fragrance from years ago in Ésika’s catalogue, although they have since changed the bottle to dark blue and the scent is no longer the same as described. Now it is similar but more updated and fruity. The opening is quite loud, but then it fades and settles into a soft cologne. Ideal for short trips where you want to smell good for a couple of hours.

A proven scent, something known to work and be versatile. In the style of Chanel Platinum Egoiste, more commercial and at catalogue price. You must be clear that the fixation is light and this is a perfume that needs reapplication, yes or yes, if you want it to last. The performance is short, but bought on offer for under $10 it’s a good option for low-cost perfuming with a nice aroma. It doesn’t smell like cheap alcohol or a pharmacy cologne. It is dignified and smells very pleasant. A daytime scent for any occasion, except when it’s colder, as it might lose strength then.

When people talk about fragrances similar to shower gel or deodorant, this is exactly that. It’s a fresh, slightly vintage scent, though it doesn’t smell of an older person; it just evokes memories from 15, 20, or more years ago. For me, it’s dispensable, but it could serve for post-shower use or sports. Beyond that, I can’t see much use for it. It’s not unpleasant, but it smells like you’ve sprayed deodorant on yourself.

Smells good. It’s very similar to Chanel’s Egoïste Platinum, but here the fresh notes take precedence over the creamy, talc-like quality of the original, making it less elegant and formal. It’s more suited for everyday wear and summer, though it holds up in the cold as its citrus notes aren’t aggressive. Ésika has interesting fragrances; worth trying.
