  • A fragrance as pleasant as it is dull and forgettable. White tea and ginger, and nothing more (cardamomo is listed, but I can’t smell it). The opening features both ginger and tea almost equally; the spice smells slightly effervescent and spicy, with some citrus nuances, perhaps even bergamot. The opening is spectacular and arguably the best part of the perfume, but unfortunately, it doesn’t last long. The tea is soft and light, not smoky, more like the scent of steam forming when boiling white tea. As time passes, the tea disappears, leaving only ginger in the heart and dry-down phases. This time, the ginger is much less spicy and far more shy, with the citrus notes also very hidden. But that’s what remains: the ginger. Performance is somewhat weak. You can smell it quite well for the first hour, but afterwards, it fades rapidly until it’s barely detectable. However, the longevity isn’t bad if you get close enough to smell it. I consider it a totally unisex scent, better suited for temperate or warm climates. In summary, it’s a perfume that smells naturally pleasant and nice, with a great opening that quickly fades and soon becomes monotonous and boring. Easy to forget and unlikely to make history. Moreover, considering its price, one might almost think it’s a bad joke. Next.

  • As pleasant as it is dull and forgettable. White tea and ginger, with no detectable cardamomo. The opening is spectacular, with an effervescent, spicy scent almost citrus-like, but it doesn’t last. The tea is soft, like the steam rising from boiling water, and vanishes quickly. What remains is a less spicy, shy ginger. Performance is poor: it projects well for the first hour, then fades to skin scent. It smells natural and nice but becomes monotonous. At this price, it feels like a joke. Next.

  • The second one I’m trying from the brand’s discovery set: I Am Coming Home. Ginger is definitely the protagonist of this fragrance, and it makes that known with its eternal citrus/spicy accord throughout the development. It appears immediately in the opening, together with the bergamot. Then the tea joins in—a sweet white tea accompanied by a jasmine infusion; I also perceive a slightly herbal accord that isn’t the tea. I believe it could be mint or eucalyptus (even though Floraiku doesn’t mention it on their website), because when I take a deep breath in the area of my skin where I applied it, it clears my nose and has an incredible decongestant effect. After two hours, an accord similar to oregano becomes more pronounced; I don’t know the scent of cardamomo well enough to confirm if that’s it. It’s a fairly linear fragrance, with moderate projection, and it’s unisex. I wouldn’t pay what it costs for this scent; it’s not something I’d wear.

  • Second in the set: I am Coming Home. The ginger takes charge with its citrus and spicy note from the start, alongside the bergamot. Then comes the sweet white tea with jasmine and a herbal touch that smells like mint or eucalyptus, clearing the nose incredibly. After two hours, an oregano accord appears. It’s linear, projects moderately, and is unisex. I wouldn’t pay the price; it’s not something I’d wear.

  • When first sprayed, it smells very citrusy with spicy bergamot from the ginger and a hint of tea. As it settles, it becomes a ginger infusion. The website lists more notes like jasmine or cedar, but they’re barely noticeable. It’s basically a refreshing tea and ginger bomb. Subtle projection and lasts about six hours. It’s a versatile unisex scent for any season (except cold weather), but too expensive for what it delivers. Pleasant: 7/10 Interesting: 4/10 Versatile: 8/10 Original: 6/10.

  • As soon as I apply this perfume to my skin, I sense a very citrusy aroma, especially bergamot, with a hint of spice from the ginger, but the tea is also noticeable. A few minutes later, as it settles, it smells like a ginger infusion. On the Floraiku website, more notes are listed: pink pepper, jasmine accord, cedarwood, guaiac wood, musk, and amber. Of these, I can barely distinguish the pink pepper, musk, and jasmine. It’s more of a refreshing tea and ginger bomb. Its projection is subtle and lasts about six hours on my skin. It’s a decent all-rounder but little more. I see it as a good unisex all-season option (except the coldest) for those who appreciate fresh and spicy perfumes. For me, however, it’s too expensive for what it delivers. Pleasant: 7/10 Interesting: 4/10 Versatile: 8/10 Original: 6/10.

  • Fresh, relaxing, and energising all at once. On my skin, it’s white tea with ginger and lots of citrus as it dries down. It reminds me of a blend between Bohemian Lime and Ingenious Ginger by Goldfield & Banks. Unisex and perfect for hot days. It’s decent, but the fixation and projection are too soft for the price. There are more solid options from Floraiku.

  • What it promises: ginger, tea, and I’d add lemon. It’s a letdown because it doesn’t last or project like this one. Absolutely not worth it. A very simple, common scent with a mediocre development for the price.

  • It promises ginger tea and lemon but feels like an idea that wasn’t executed well. It neither fixes nor leaves a trail; it’s not worth it. A simple, common scent with a mediocre development for the cost. Next.

  • Victortor

Relaxing and fresh, with a citrus and green opening that soon reveals the ginger. It smells round and light, with floral and soapy hints very much in the Japanese style. The downside is that while the bottle is stunning, the projection and longevity are weak. For the price, I expected more. Ideal for sunny days or for wearing at home. Unisex.

  • Victortor

An ultra-relaxing aroma that perhaps lacks something… and I like it. A very fresh, green, citrus opening that conveys relaxation. The ginger is felt soon too. This combination of notes feels rounded from the start; it couldn’t be any other way. The evolution, still feeling refreshing and light, is accompanied by a slight soapy, floral, and spicy sensation. The whole story feels very light, a fragrance with a Japanese character. But that feeling of being so light, fresh, and crisp has a weak undercurrent; it lacks performance and projection everywhere. Yes, it’s a purely Japanese perfume, but for the price, they should offer something more. The bottle is brilliant, the scent is very good and fits its context, but the price and performance weigh heavily on the negative side. Daytime unisex for sunny days; it’s an experience to wear in the tranquility of the home.
