  • I’ve been wearing this for months. The standout features are the longevity and projection, which are spectacular; designer brands would kill for that performance. As for the scent, it’s fairly linear. The opening is very potent but fades over time, though it remains noticeable. On my skin, the rose is prominent and powerful yet not harsh, accompanied by oud that feels more woody than animalic. I barely detect the other notes, but the amber and raspberry add a sweet touch that makes it quite wearable. Given the price I paid, I’d highly recommend it for under €20; it was a blind buy that I really liked, but you do need to enjoy the rose and oud combination.

I bought it for €13 just to see if it resembled Ombre Nomade or Montale’s Black Aoud. I don’t understand how they manage such a low price. The bottle is standard, nothing like a jewel, but not worse than branded ones. The opening is brutal: synthetic petrol-like oud, nothing like what was promised. My wife and I didn’t like it at all, and honestly, I doubt anyone will love that opening. It improves slightly over time, losing that annoying oily tone, but only a little. The overall experience isn’t good. It definitely doesn’t convince me, and I struggle to believe it’s a decent copy of those fragrances. I’m not sure if they match the listed notes; in the end, it forms a unique scent that I don’t like and I’m too lazy to analyse in depth.

I picked this up at Notino for €11, on an offer I doubt I’ll find again. After a week of testing: on the first day, I thought it was another poor Arabic fragrance with that tight, tempered synthetic oud (de temps, not temperature). However, things changed; that awful opening softened, and the rose emerged alongside soft suede leather, natural incense, and a clean base that smelled like musk or ambroxan. Still, it didn’t fully convince me, nor did it please my wife. By the second day, sprayed after a shower, I literally smelled of clean, soft rose and oud for a pleasant 4–5 hours. Spoiler: my wife still found it very ‘Arabic’ and ‘souk’-like. The following days, it smelled cleaner and cleaner until I noticed a sweet fruity base. I definitely like the fragrance. I hope it improves further with maceration. I’ve never tried Ombre Nomade, but if this is better, I might be tempted to give it a go. Hope this helps, compis.

I bought it on Notino for €11, an offer I’m sure won’t be repeated. After a week of testing: on the first day, I thought it was another poor Arabic fragrance with that tight, muted synthetic oud (of temporas, not temperature). But then things changed; that horrible opening softened, and the rose began to emerge, along with a soft suede-like leather, natural incense, and a clean base, as if it had musk or ambroxan. Still, it didn’t fully convince me, and my wife liked it even less. On the second day, sprayed after a shower, I literally smelled of clean, soft rose and oud for 4–5 hours in a pleasant way.
