It’s the twin of Lolita Masculin by Lempicka but with significantly better longevity, likely due to that peculiar oud note that makes it brilliant. The licorice is still evident, but it’s creamier and less sweet, leaving a trail for hours. In dry down, it recalls the original but feels darker without being aggressive, truly unisex. The bottle is gorgeous; it’s a limited edition with only two boxes available in the perfumerie. I’ve snapped mine up—if you see it, buy it without hesitation.
I own both this edition and Au Masculin, and this one surpasses the first: it retains the anise and licorice but feels darker and more elegant thanks to the agarwood (oud), making it ideal for nights. I’ve worn it for over 12 hours and it’s still noticeable on the skin; it lingers much longer on clothes and has a better trail than its sibling. The ivy gives it an extra boost. For me, it scores 9.5/10. As a limited edition, the price rises as stock dwindles.
I have both this and Au Masculin. This edition beats the first: it keeps the anise and licorice but feels darker and more elegant with the agarwood (oud), perfect for evenings. I’ve worn it for over 12 hours and it’s still on the skin; it lasts much longer on clothes and has a superior trail than its brother. The ivy adds its touch and gives it more punch. For me, it rates 9.5/10. Being a limited edition, the price climbs as it sells out.
A hyper-realistic licorice scent that screams Lolita Lempicka DNA, devoid of anise or myrrh, revolving entirely around that intense sweetness reminiscent of classic mentholated sweets. At first, it’s suffocating, but as the licorice recedes, a woody phase emerges with a subtle hint of anise that I adore; it may stray slightly from the original, yet remains instantly recognisable. Marketed for ‘formal or evening’ wear, but for me, it’s as wearable as Au Masculine, complete with its own pros and cons. It lasts a moderate six hours on the skin and eight to ten hours on clothes. Initially, it overwhelms me, but over time, it becomes much more pleasant.
