I discovered it for sleeping in and it’s now my signature night scent; on its own it could use a little more, but it’s long-lasting and delicious. The trick is layering: it’s the perfect sweet floral note to soften woody and dark fragrances. My winning combos are with Man in Black, L’Eau d’Issey, Cedrat Boise Intense and Gentleman EDP Reserve Privée. The result is incredible!

I’ve had it for six years and it’s a love. It’s black licorice with an amber that sweetens considerably over time on my skin. The longevity is top-notch, around 9 hours, although the projection drops to 2 hours. The trail is brilliant. Watch out, it seems reformulated and doesn’t perform quite as well as before.
I’ve had this for six years and it’s a real treat. It’s black licorice with amber that becomes incredibly sweet on my skin over time. Longevity is top-notch, around nine hours, though projection drops to about two hours. The trail is brilliant. Just a note, it seems reformulated and doesn’t perform quite as well as before.
A bold proposition: amber and black licorice, the classic tough guy. It evolves little, but the changes are noticeable. I’d like it to last longer; the trail is strong for the first hour then fades. It lasts four or five hours on skin before becoming very skin-scented, yet it persists. I wear it for late-night outings; it’s very dark. I wouldn’t recommend it for daytime or summer as it’s super warm. I’m not sure if I’d buy it again, but for now, I’m enjoying it.
Groundbreaking proposition: amber and black licorice, the classic tough guy. It evolves little, yet the changes are noticeable. I wish it lasted longer; the trail is strong for the first hour then fades. It lingers for about 4 or 5 hours on the skin before becoming very skin-scented, though it persists. I wear it on old nights out; it’s very dark. I wouldn’t recommend it for daytime or summer, it’s super warm. I’m not sure if I’d buy it again, but for now I’m enjoying it.
