I tried Oliver Cresp’s Infinite Spicy thanks to a decant from my supplier. It smells good: a creamy blend of spices and woods, with a leather note not listed on the card but clearly present, ideal for winter or cool weather and totally nocturnal, perfect with a leather jacket. Although it reminds me of fragrances I already own, such as Azzaro Pour Homme, Bentley Absolute, or John Varvatos Rebel Rider, this one has a freshness bonus from its citrus and herbal notes. The problem is the performance: frankly, it fails, being one of the poorest I’ve experienced; it projects for barely an hour and then stays skin-scent for another four hours before disappearing. I spoke with Leonardo Davincho about how even niche scents smell so sparse, and this, although not niche, is equally disappointing. It smells good, but the price doesn’t justify its poor longevity, plus it’s hard to find. If you want to avoid a bad purchase, skip it. Scent: 8.5/10. Projection: 2/10. Longevity: max 5 hours. Not recommended.
