Excellent perfume, very similar to Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather but softer. A good option for work meetings due to its sophisticated scent. The most noticeable notes are saffron, oud wood, and amber. It lasts 7 hours, with a trail of 3, and the best part is that it offers niche quality at designer prices, ranging from $50 to $80.

I just tried it and I can’t recognise the notes listed. The oud smells very synthetic and sweet; I expected more from this Mercedes. Better not to have bought it, as my family member already has one. It seems like a waste of money if you’re looking for a strong, long-lasting oud with an exquisite scent; for that, the M7 by Yves Saint Laurent is the real deal.

  • Compared to the past, Mercedes has lost some charisma in cars; nowadays I’d only consider the B or C Class. With fragrances, this scent doesn’t convince me either, just like the previous ones I’ve tried. It has that synthetic aquatic note that puts me off, with mediocre longevity and projection for an EDP. It opens with bergamot, mandarin, and lots of pepper, followed by woods and resins, but everything smells very synthetic. It feels like a high-tech laboratory creation without soul, mystery, or charm. I didn’t like it and I think there are better options for the price (look at Ferrari or Bentley, for example).

  • I’m surprised there aren’t more reviews, as this is an absolute gem for me: rich wood, pepper, and bergamot, with a leather note that gives it a super elegant, masculine vibe. I wore it to work yesterday; even with a mask on, people asked what perfume I was wearing. It’s not intrusive or overly projecting, but it’s very intimate and lasts incredibly long on the skin; anyone who gets close notices it. Excellent choice from Mercedes Benz, with a beautiful circular leather bottle. Highly recommended 💪👏

Fragantica forgot the leather note! The oud didn’t appeal to me. As they sometimes get it wrong.

Fragrantica missed the leather note! The oud did not seem right to me! They miss the mark sometimes!

I bought the tester of this Mercedes Benz Le Parfum because I found it at a good price and risked buying it blind (30 dollars). I had high expectations due to comments saying it resembled Tuscan Leather by Tom Ford. The opening is a bit alcoholic and it is hard to perceive the pepper and bergamot notes. However, other undeclared notes are noticeable: leather and incense that blend with a very subtle sweet oud base from the amber. It reminds me a lot of Issey Miyake Intense, but without that yuzu citrus note. When it dries the bergamota disappears to give way to leather, saffron and oud, always with incense in the background giving it a smoky touch. It is the smell of your leather jacket the next day if you went out partying at a bar and sat in the smoking section. It is not for blind buying, nor for young people, nor for hot days. In summary, I expected more from this Le Parfum.

  • A friend who travelled bought it for me and I got to try it; I have liked it quite a bit. It is the kind of men’s perfume with leather accords that I enjoy. It has a fresh and ozonic opening that reminds me of Fahrenheit, something Mercedes has taken as inspiration for this line. Then it ‘darkens’ with the woods and that leather sensation closer to suede or treated leather rather than rustic animal leather. The performance is adequate: it lasts about 7 hours and has a moderate trail with projection closer to the body, as is usual with eau de parfums. It is worth it.

  • Mercedes Benz Le Parfum reminds me remotely of Tom Ford’s Ombré Leather, but much softer. The opening is the best part; when it dries it keeps the pleasant leather scent and that smoky touch appears which gives it darkness. Although it reminds of Ombré Leather, they are very different: the latter is powerful, wild, scandalous and lucid, while Le Parfum is softer. It is built intimately: it is not a bomb to flood a room, but it performs well if you are close to your partner. It is extremely pleasant for those nearby and is perceived well. Its ideal use is on a date or in a restaurant. It is an elegant scent. If you are looking for something in the Ombré Leather line but less powerful on leather and without spending much, it is an excellent option. Scent: 8.0. Projection: moderate but noticeable for 2 hours. Longevity: lasts 8 hours on skin and I can smell it on clothes, projecting well for the first 2 hours. Recommended.

  • Mercedes Benz Le Parfum reminds me remotely of Tom Ford’s Ombré Leather, but much softer. The opening is the best; as it dries down, it retains a pleasant leather scent and reveals a smoky note that adds depth. Although it recalls TF, they aren’t the same: Ombré Leather is powerful, rugged, and lucid, whereas this is softer and more intimate. It’s not a bomb to fill a room, but it works well if you’re close to your partner; it’s extremely pleasant for those around you. Ideal for dates or restaurants. If you’re looking for something in the Ombré Leather line but less potent and without spending much, it’s an excellent option. Scent: 8.0. Projection: moderate but noticeable for 2 hours. Longevity: 8 hours on skin, projects well at the start. Recommended.

In my humble opinion, the opening reminded me of Acqua di Parma Leather Eau Concentrée (old bottle). It’s citrusy, smoky, and floral, with a very subtle but elegant leather note emerging at the base. I see it as an alternative to leather fragrances like ACP Leather or Tom Ford Ombré Leather. The resemblance to Dior’s Fahrenheit lies in the citrus opening of the violet, almost reaching that solvent or petrol smell.

Greetings, I bought it by chance while looking for Ferrari Leather Essence, which seems to be discontinued. Mercedes Le Parfum has seemed to me a very good option. It smells of leather and saffron, sometimes seeming mentholated. It appears elegant and, as some say, ‘smells expensive’ while being economical and offering great value for money. I recommend it as versatile, elegant and economical. It has a very beautiful packaging, better than others that are indeed more costly.

Hello, I bought this fragrance by chance as I was looking for the Ferrari Leather Essence, which seems to be discontinued. Mercedes Le Parfum has seemed like a very good option: it smells of leather with saffron, sometimes with a mentholated touch. It exudes elegance and, as they say, ‘smells expensive’ while being affordable with great value for money. I recommend it for being versatile, elegant, and cheap. Its packaging is very beautiful, better than other more expensive perfumes.

Mercedes Benz fragrances have excellent quality. This MBLP reminds me of the smell of a fur coat. Of all the ones I own, it is the one that lasts longest on skin, about 12 hours, and on clothes for several days. It is a pleasant and versatile scent.

  • I am surprised they do not list leather in the pyramid, because this is pure leather. It is essentially another clone of Tuscan Leather or Ombré Leather by Tom Ford. I do not know where the oud is, as I cannot smell it. On the plus side, it smells good, lasts and is very economical. Its evolution is strange: it starts like a clone of Tuscan Leather, but after half an hour the leather disappears and leaves a refreshing but low-quality scent of cucumber and lemon; I smell raw egg when it dries. I do not know where this is going. Not for dressing up nor for the beach. I think it is for going to the beach in formal wear, haha. Recommended? I do not think so. Better to try before buying and let it dry to analyse the evolution.

  • It smells very good and has quality, but it is not for anyone under 25 or 30 years old. It resembles its cousin Mercedes Intense and Fahrenheit. It does not have much projection and does not last long on skin (although I have dry skin). I am not sure if I would buy it again when it runs out because it costs more than 30 dollars here in Chile. For me, the best of Mercedes is Club Black, then MB Grey, and third this Le Parfum, tied with Intense.

Le Parfum has become my favourite winter fragrance: firm, elegant and with great presence. From the very first moment, it smells of a mature man. Although Fragrantica does not list leather in the pyramid, I can smell it clearly. It is not aggressive or synthetic, but polished, sober and rich, blending beautifully with the oud. This oud is elegant, dark and adds an unpredictable nocturnal touch; it brings familiar memories but with its own character. The dry-down is top: the leather takes charge, the violet joins in, the oud adds body and the amber seduces. It is super fluid and transports me to an intimate place with dim lights and dark leather sofas in an exclusive club. Its formal versatility is incredible: it goes with a suit or a leather jacket. It is not commercially youthful, but sophisticated for men aged 25 and above thanks to that mature touch. Its dark warmth is perfect for the cold without being overpowering. The trail is moderate, letting people know you are there without invading space. It lasts about 8 hours and I could still smell it on clothes the next day. It is for the man who already knows who he is: adult, seductive and made for the cold and the night. Little is said about this amazing fragrance!
